People who've already mailed out their FD-258s (before the eDO was rolled out) and want to move to the eDO version. Here's the steps:

If you have sent your Departmental Order request through the mail with a tracking number, but now wish to do the New Electronic Departmental Order (EDO) process, please follow the instructions below:

Go to the www.fbi.gov website, complete the EDO process and forward a copy of your confirmation email (has order number on it and our address at the bottom) – send this email to us with the following information:

Name

Address

Telephone number

Name of Courier

Tracking number for the envelope you had already mailed to us

Money orders/cashier’s checks will be returned to you. Credit card forms will be destroyed.

Failure to follow these instructions will lead to further delays.

When we match up mail, we cannot produce your report in 48 hours. So, you may want to wait for us to just process the mail we have here already from you. Today, we are opening mail from November 2, 2017. We cannot provide any e-copy of the previous report. The electronic system just became available last week and it processes new information – we cannot reproduce old information as we do not keep fingerprints on file here for civil requests.

Mostly means it may take a few days (and not 48h) if one wishes to process using an already submitted paper application.

I have a rather odd question: have there been rejections by IRCC due to a middle name being present on the FBI PCC when its not on the passport itself? Reason I ask: I mistakenly added my wife's middle name on the PCC application (but not all her documents have it, including her passport). I only caught that after uploading the PCC. I only hope it's not a big deal they will kick me over :|

FWIW, even though my online status says "We are reviewing the additional documents...", the email response from CPC says "We do not require any information from you at the present time." So, I'm hoping they didn't mind the presence of the middle name.

Hi,

Yes, I have experienced it. The date of birth mentioned on my and my husband's report are both wrong. There's a gap of one day in both. However, fbi people are not ready to accept that there's some problem in the system and asked to resubmit the application

Got following response:

Thank you for your inquiry,

I have reviewed the application which was entirely completed by you and your spouse. The Dates of Births that you provided on the form are exact Dates of Birth printed on your responses.

If you feel you have made an error, please feel free to resubmit.
Same as mine - gap of one day. They told me it's my fault and I need to resubmit, but I'm 200% sure its not a fault on my end. Will just have to resubmit.

I am sure too, how could so many people make the same mistake of one day in dob. There's something wrong with the system but they are not accepting. Anyways, I have resubmitted the application and you should do the same as soon as possible.

Can't you guys challenge it? Or does challenge mean just challenging the outcome of the report? Maybe a few similar challenges would make them look into this problem.

A Challenge is typically only for the outcome of the report. Maybe explicitly letting them know the system has a bug might help in case of this DOB error problem.

Hi all, when I am trying to open the edo website, it said "request denied". Has anybody experienced this situation?
Many thanks

My FBI PCC APPLICATION REACHED ON NOVEMBER 2nd
My card was charged February 12

How long it will take to get the report after charge credit card for India.
It took about five weeks for me, and this seems to be getting longer. Suggest you reapply for the eDO 48Hrs thing if its really urgent. I did both as my deadline was tight. Received my original request earlier though.

Hey Guys,
Got my PCC which i had applied through eDO today. They have got my Date of Birth Wrong! it states 31st dec even instead of Jan 1st. I saw a few folks earlier also mention the same. I cannot use this PCC its of no use to me. Any suggestions?
