Guys who are impatient, I want to let you know that an October applicant whose application was received October 13th have just gotten AOR today. So don't panic and assume that your application is lost. I don't believe that applications get lost that easy.
Hope all will get AOR soon.

Hi All,

I got my AOR by email on Sunday January 14th and i am still unable to check my application status on the CIC website using the UCI or the PR card number

Is this normal?

I got AOR yesterday morning and as of this morning I was able to check it online. Both My UCI and Application number works fine.

[/ @polojesef My situation is no different than yours. I sent my application on Nov 6 and was delivered and signed for by M KRSZWDA on Nov 8. Since then I have been waiting patiently for AOR. I just couldn't bear the wait any longer so I decided to call CIC yesterday to get an update. I was told exactly the same what you have described above. The agent added that I should wait at least for another month and a half and see if I receive anything from CIC. If nothing by then, let us know and we will investigate. IDK but I have a bad feeling about this. I hate to say it but it feels like my application is lost. If that's the case and they confirm this fact 45 days + (investigation time) from today I would be extremely pissed off. I mean what the hell?]

I’m waiting for AOR as well, my app was delivered on 7thNov. I filled webform last week - no respose yet and went to local MP they have sent the email to cic and will forward me there reply once received!!

i am in the same boat also guys submitted my app on nov 14 and was received by T allen and i also called cic....she also gave me same reply to wait till feb 27 and then call the office....it’s disappointing but we can do

Does anyone know what the processing centers are for the Greater Vancouver area? When I search IRCC it says Vancouver has 2 locations and there is a Surrey office, but the location sheet in the excel mentions Aldergrove, Coquitlam etc. I see the IRCC site mentioned they have temporary offices but those don't denote those suburbs. Is the spreadsheet based off people having stated they live in the specific suburbs of Aldergrove, Coquitlam, etc? I'm just curious, as my location in the Fraser Valley would put me closest to the Surrey IRCC center, unless there really is an Aldergrove or Coquitlam one, or does it all just funnel to the Vancouver center?

Hi,
My application was received by R Lorando on Nov 14, up to now No AOR. I contacted the service desk and I was told that CIC received so many applications and I have to give them one more month to update everything.

Still crossing my fingers.
