Hi Guys, i have got an ITA and am in document upload face and figuring on how to het the employment letters and need your support for this and thanks in advance.

for proof of work experience we need to submit a reference letter from current and all past jobs
1) Would relieving letter or service letter serve the purpose of this reference letter or do we need to get it seperataely from each previous emplyer again?
2) My current employer does not issue proof of employment for the purposes of immigration of passport mentioned, what should i do in this case?
3) I worked in a company for 10 months, do we need letter for that?

You will need the reference letters of the jobs you are claiming the CRS points, for receiving the ITA.

1) The work reference letter must include your duties and responsibilities as per your NOC, CTC, hours worked per week, designation and joining date. This must be signed by your immediate manager/HR

2) Check out this link - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/nail-the-challenge-of-getting-reference-letter-from-current-employer.397796/

3) If you are claiming points then Yes. Otherwise you can move it to the personal history section.
If you already have 3 years of work experience then your CRS points max out, (assuming you only have foreign non-Canadian work experience.)

Need some advice on this situation.

My manager who wrote the reference letter for me has resigned.

Should i get a new reference letter from the current manager or would the old one suffice?

Thanks,

AFAIK, IRCC asks for a reference letter from either the reporting manager or the HR. Am not sure what you mean by branch manager.

Have you provided the former manager's contact details? Are they still contactable on that number?

If you can get a reference letter from your new manager, that would be the best option.

Hi Friends,
I need a suggestion on my situation related to reference letter.

I have 6 years of work experience in total that I have mentioned in my work history, after ITA, in the following manner.

1. May 2011 – Aug 2013 (2 years and 3 months)
2. Nov 2013 – Mar 2015 (1 year and 4 months)
3. April 2015 – till present (2 years and 8 months)

• Now my concern is that I have detailed reference letter available for my latest jobs, that is Job No 2 and 3, that makes a total of 4 years of work ex which is enough to claim maximum job points.
• Whereas for my old job, that is Job 1, I do not have any reference letter because the company was dissolved in 2015. Is reference letter for this job is also mandatory?, because i mentioned a total of 6 years of work ex in express entry profile? I only have appointment letters, relieving letter, salary slips and bank statements to prove this job.

Would appreciate the support of all senior members of the group.

Friends,

I need some advice on the employment reference letter from my current company. I managed to get the letter as described by CIC but the purpose of the letter states that its been 'issued for XYZ certification purpose'. Will that be a problem?.

I have informed my company that I am in need of this letter to avail a loan to pursue a certification and they issued it this way.

Kindly advice.

Hi Experts,

Need your suggestion as am also travelling in the same boat like you. I worked for 2 companies and overall experience is 6 years in MNC company. You all might know that it is not possible to get the reference letter with roles and responsibilities from MNC company do you suggest any alternative method or document for employer reference letter. Apart from this letter i have all documents to prove my employment but without roles and responsibilities....

Your valuable suggestion would be highly appreciated...

hi friends..I have one question in my case regarding the statutory declaration:

My case is as:
- my employer only gave me a reference letter with only my designation, joining date, number of hours per week mentioned
- nothing else is specified in above letter like salary, job roles and responsibilites etc
- I got the HR denial email as well where its simply denied to any other letter apart from above details
- I requested my manager and he checked with HR and legal department to check the feasibility of him issuing me a statutory declaration and his business card.
- he was told that he can personally issue one but he MUST not mention his designation, email id or any reference to Company's internal details like department names etc and he MUST also NOT attach his business card with this.
- My manager gave me a stamped letter with his name, address, contact number and my roles and responsibilities but it does not has his email id, designation etc.

My question is that the declaration letter from manager without his designation will have any value?

I am planning to add the following to the application:
- employer reference letter with minimal details
- notarized declaration from my manager with only his name, address, contact number and my roles and responsibilities
- denial email from HR
- Salary slips for three months in the beginning and three latest ones
- Income tax deduction details(Form 16)

Will all the above details suffice for my case? Please provide inputs if I am missing any thing here? thanks

Your boss's official email address is required. In case bgc he must respond back stating he approves your job responsibilites.

he was told be hr and the legal department not to provide his official email id, his designation or his business card with any such personal letter..

but, the Denial email which HR gave me had my manager's email to HR recommending to issue the referral letter...

in this case..will this letter from him work?

he is OK to take any call or reply to an email etc but cant give his details in a written letter etc...
