PCC from Dubai

Hi,
I got my PCC from Dubai last month. I applied myself in Dubai since I still have family there. If you are a previous UAE resident and had Emirates ID card, then they will not ask for fingerprints since it is already in their system. I didn't apply online so I don't know the exact process. It takes around 3 business days before receiving the certificate in your email.

Yes I sent my residency copy and my expired Emirates ID number as well. I have got a PCC 3 times before but from Abu Dhabi. I hope they will issue me one as I was an Abu Dhabi resident.
Have you got yours by email? Is it considered original if sent by email?
Yes I got mine by email. Dubai police only issues electronic PCC so they are considered originals.

I would be highly thankful,if you can list the steps to get Dubai police certificate from Canada. I left Dubai 3 yrs ago and settled here and I don't have Emirates ID copy though for my wife but have previous UAE residence visas. I request your advice as I am eligible to apply and this seem to be the only problem.

Were these accepted? We came to know through HMC that electronic PCCs from Dubai are not accepted :/
Hi, yes they were accepted. I got AOR and application is in process. Also, Dubai only provides electronic PCC now as far as I know.
What is HMC? . We will never know unless we pass an interview!! AORs mean nothing as many applicants with big mistakes got AORs!!!
Hi. What do you mean by HMC? Did someone confirmed that PCC from Dubai not accepted? As per CIC website, PCC from Dubai is accepted and if the electronic one is only available, then I doubt its not accepted
HMC is an advisory service and they stated that electronic PCC will not be accepted. But I doubt their statement as Dubai Police only issues electronic versions.

I have submitted my Citizenship application with a PCC from Abu Dhabi ..
I have requested the PCC from the APP. and received the certificate next day by email.
I have included a letter with my application stating that UAE issues an Electronic PCC only and I have included screenshots of the Application showing all steps and also the email I received from AD Police.
My application is In Process stage now.

I applied with a e-PCC last year, have PR now...
I also applied PCC from Dubai Police online and got the electronic PCC within 3 hours. Finger prints aren't required if applicant provides Emirates ID number at the time of PCC onlibe application, if ever had Emirates ID othrrwise fingerprints are required. Copy of passport, UAE cancelled visa and photo are required to be attached.
I was told by the customer service that original PCC will also be sent at my address which will take at least one month. If this is true then I should be receiving original PCC by mid January.
