Updated the sheet. Good luck! You're the first toronto applicant on the sheet to get a test invite. What's your processing center where the test is at ?
Can’t confirm specifically (due to sensitivity of work)... but it’s in GTA. Also, might not want to consider mine a standard app as may have been processed faster b/c of requirements for work.

Did you request urgent processing ? Well, IMO, disclosing your test center (addresses of which are public information anyway) should in no way affect your application.

Hello Everyone:

I am soon to apply for citizenship, and have 2 questions that are for now holding me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Question 1 (question 11 in application form)

"Enter details of your employment and education history during the eligibility period below. Be sure to provide information for entire eligibility period."

I need help with the red text highlighted below:
Under this question there are spots such as (Dates-From/ To, name of employer, occupation/field, where were were you physically present (My residence address at the time or my employer's address), city, country, name of contact (My landlord contact or employer contact), phone number (landlord or employer?), email adrress)

  • Question 2 (question 9b in application form)
What date should I enter under expiry date of my work permit
  1. The expiry date on my work permit document, or
  2. The date I stopped being a temporary worker and became Permanent Resident
Thanks a lot in advance!!
1) employer's address
2) most (if not all) of us entered the date we stopped being a temporary worker

Did not request urgent. Not disclosing due to worries over app... rather work. It changes nothing for expectations as my app may not be standard.

my application was delivered on 25 october. till date haven’t heard anything. i called the call centre today and they said they dont have any record of my application. the agent recommended that i wait till mid jan and then reapply. WTF !!! somebody signed for the package when my application was delivered. how can there be no record. anybody else who had a similar experience and any suggestions would be most welcome.

There is no record because they haven't opened your application yet. Signing for the application doesn't get recorded onto GCMS. There is no point calling the call center, it will only frustrate you. They won't have any information on your file till you get AOR. October applicants are still getting AOR, as is evident from the spreadsheet. Only course of action is to wait, unfortunately. There is absolutely no need to submit another application, it will only cause delays to you and indirectly to others.

thanks for the promp reply razerblade. however, the agent said all applications have to be entered within 6 weeks max. they are entering applications received on the second week of nov as of today. i asked the agent if there is a chance that my application might still be be entered and she said at this point NO.

They are wrong. Please do not trust those agents, it has been clear that they do not undergo proper training. Proof is this forum, as I pointed out a week ago. What they told you, they have been repeating the same to other applicants for the past 3-4 weeks now, and encouraging people to reapply. However, if you check posts from the past month on this forum, people who were encouraged to re-apply by these same agents, and told their applications are lost, now got AOR. Applications are not lost, they are just sitting in a pile somewhere waiting to be opened.

As I mentioned, October applicants are still getting AOR, albeit slowly. Please keep monitoring the spreadsheet.

Mine was delivered on 18th October, not sure if my file was delivered by stupid canada post at some other address (what they did with my PR file three years back ), but the tracking says delivered, even though i ve selected for option with signature required, there is no sign.

Spoke to agent few days ago and they suggested me to wait till end of January before reapplying. Will wait for one more week and if no AOR tby Friday, will do send out application on following Monday.

Oct applicants should wait for 12 weeks before acting otherwise.
IRCC received 17,500 applications within the few weeks of the new 3/5 rules
from Oct 11.This number excludes Nov.,applications.
Good luck to you all.

Mine delivered Oct 26th, haven’t heard anything. Just bad luck, it’ll happen eventually (and think how nice it’ll be when it happens!)
