Hello guys,

I have been going through a lot of threads for last few months on this forum and have gained a lot of information from the knowledgeable community that we have here. Kudos to all. I received my PPR today and thought I should give back to the community in whatever capacity I can. Below are the timelines:

FSW-O
Application Processing Office - CPC-O

AOR - 15 OCT
Medical - 06 NOV
ADR for US PCC - 07 NOV
IP1 - 08 NOV
NA2 - 08 NOV
ADR Completed - 07 DEC
IP2 - 27 or 28 DEC
PPR - 29 DEC

I hope this helps, let me know in case there are any queries.

Cheers and Thanks!

Hi..please see below situation;
FSW-O
AOR- 8 Oct 2017
MEP -25 Oct 2017
BG check: we will inform once we start your background check.
No change since MEP till date.
Almost 76 days now since AOR.
E-mailed CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
and got below reply;
"Please note that your application is currently at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia and has not yet been transferred to a local visa office"

Anybody with similar situation?
Any guess what stage I might be at?

Please comment. Thank you.

This is helpful. My case is same as yours with a slightly different timeline.

1) How long after submitting the US PCC did your case stay in "Additional documents are being reviewed" ?
2) What is the deadline to enter Canada?

Here is my timeline:

AOR - 28 OCT
Medical - 02 NOV
ADR for US PCC - 02 NOV
US PCC uploaded- 04 DEC
Deadline to submit US PCC- 01 Jan 2018

SInce, Dec 4th, the satus is in "Additional documents are being reviewed". I am just wondering if they wait full 60 days (time granted to submit ADR) before they start processing the application again.

Hello...

1) How long after submitting the US PCC did your case stay in "Additional documents are being reviewed" ? - For me the day I got ADR, it changed to 'We do not need additional documents.'. Strange but this is how it has been from the day of ADR. Even when I uploaded the PCC in Dec, this status never changed to being uploaded/reviewed etc.

2) What is the deadline to enter Canada? - My PPR does not specify date by which I should enter, I believe it would be part of the COPR and would be one year from the day my medicals were done, which ideally would be in Sep 2018, but can't say with certainty unless I get it from the visa office. I will update once I get to know about this.

I was also thinking if they would wait for 60 days before picking my file again, but they picked it up almost a week before the 60 days deadline.. What is your current BG status? And do you know if you file has move to local VO?

Thanks.

I am guessing then they will pick it up after the holiday and it will also put my application over the ADR deadline date as well.

BG status - NA. I know it suppose to go into IP2 at some point. What is the relevance of NA?

Never bothered to find out where the file is. I will stick it out and start poking around Jan end if nothing changes.

Yup, they will pick it up soon I believe. NA - Not applicable, these are basically different phases through which the BG check goes, mostly PPR comes after IP2, however, there is no defined path.. some get it soon after IP2 like me, some are stuck in IP2 for months and there are few who even go into NA3 after IP2. There is no point worrying about all these things as long as you are under the defined processing timelines... All the best to you buddy...
