Singapore COC

Hi

I have a simple question. I understand in order to get Singapore COC as as non-citizen/non-resident I need to apply online using FIN#. I was in Singapore way back in 2009-10 on Employment pass. I have the FIN# as it was written under my first time entry stamp (with a pen).. I checked that the FIN # is a valid one however I don't have any FIN# related ID -Employment pass since I returned it on my way out. I don't have a photocopy of it either.. Can I use the passport entry stamp page as front and back ID proof. Also I entered Singapore with my old passport and renewed it while I was in Singapore... Do I need to provide my old passport details also as "other document" in the Section for Documents to be Uploaded (in COC application form).

I would upload copy of both passports when you apply for the COC, it doesn't harm.

For the EP, perhaps contact your previous employer in SG, they might have a copy since it was not so long ago? Or maybe try calling SG Police Force and explain them you have no copy of your EP, they may be able to propose you something else.

Hi ! You can actually upload your new and old passport in the application and put in the remarks that you have returned your EP before you exited Singapore. I think its the same case for a lot of people too,re: giving back the valid pass to ICA/MOM before exiting Singapore

Thanks all for your replies so far..An update

I was able to find the photo copy of my EP however it is the EP that was issued. It was valid for a year and then if I recall correctly another one was issued to me as an extension. I however only have got the photo copy of the 1st pass . Will that suffice. Another problem is I only have the front page of it and not the back page. Can I supplement it with passport stamp/IPA letter

Hi,

Which country u apply from for coc, i had got my coc b4 i left sg. If u apply from outside sg u have to apply with ur fin number, and upload the fingerprint pages got from local police authorities.

Ur fin number is fixed to u even if u re enter sg after many years, it will not change.

Additional info,
Instead sending direct to spf, if u ahve a friend in sg, u can send to them in a sealed envlope and upload an authorisiation form that u sent ur docs through ur friend. Coz it might take more time if u send to spf, if u pass to spf through authorised person will speed up the process.
