What to do after 8 months course.

I got study visa which will expire on 30 nov2018. My course ends on august 2018. After that i am planning to study for 2 more years , so i need to apply for study permit extension(change or extend your stay in canada as a student—form) or i have to apply for new study permit like the things i did in my home country for getting student visa because my initial study permit was for course which i graduated now i will be taking a new course in another college.

1)Will they give me 2 more years study permit after doing one year course.

2)If i change institution and study level from pg diploma to post secondary diploma will that affect my study permit while applying for new one in canada after completing first course.

I might sound foolish but i dont know much about extension or what to do after taking new course there.

Advice appreciated.

1. CIC won't give you 2 years work permit if you studied for 1 year only
2. You can apply for a new student visa if you got a new admission letter for the 2nd program. Requirements are the same.

1)After studying 1 year if i get admission in a 2yr program they will give me 2 years STUDY PERMIT right?
2)when i have an admission offer for 2nd program for 2 years i have to extend my stay as a student by applying online to CIC or i have to apply to again with sop,passport and send it to the embassy.
