Good day,

My husband is currently in Canada as a visitor and his 6-month stay is expiring next January. I'm a PR and we have already started his PR process (family sponsorship) and JUST submitted his medical exams (not 2 weeks ago) . We are now preparing the paperwork to submit a visa extension that would allow him to stay here with me while we wait for a response. We'd like to apply for another year in Canada (December 2018) so we ensure this.

1) Since we are applying for +6 months temporary residence in Canada, do we have to do his medicals again? Can we submit the proof we have from the ones he just did?

I would also appreciate any information/advise you could give us in terms of support documents for this request.

Thank you.

Hi

If a medical is required, you can submit the proof of the one he just did.
