Yes, he needs medical examination.

While I was applying, I did medicals for my kids who were aged 4 and 6 at the time of applying.
but vel tell me kids who aged 1 or 2 at the time of apply???Because i think as per cic there is no need of medical below aged 4.

Unfortunately, I am not sure for the kids aged 1 or 2. Either way, CIC will ask for a medical examination, if they think it was necessary.

To my knowledge - The medical examination rule as per CIC for kids is as below -
Under the age of 5 - Only doctor examination (routine physical examination)
Under the age of 11 - Doctor examination + Urine routine test
Above 11 - Blood test / X-ray / Urine / Doctor examination

I got it recently done 2 days back from a CHC authorized doctor and checked with him. Got it for my 5 years old daughter. Hope it helps

Hi All, I have a fresh question.. not sure if thread is right. Apologies upfront.

I am moving to Canada on a Worker visa and Visa for my spouse is getting processed as a temporary resident. Can she apply for open work permit upon landing at airport? She will have a temporary resident visa already then. How long will it take for Open work permit to be granted? I heard from someone that, this could be issued at airport within few hours span.

Thanks for your response

hello twin, actually my wife had applied my open work permit application through Representative(inside canada).,So how i will get this information online or paper application?
Representative should have done it online i guess, but you can also make sure by calling your representative.

Hi everyone,
What if the job letter doesn't include the NOC code but have all the duties and responsibilities typed ( for SOWP). Is it a must thing to include NOC code in job letter or my position can justify that I am a skiiled worker.
Please ans. if anyone knows.
Thanks in advance.

Confusing situation about dropping study permit to get spouse open work permit:

My spouse and I are both currently in Canada with study permits in grad school. He has an opportunity for a good job here and wants to potentially quit school to pursue this offer. We were wondering if its possible for him to get a spousal open work permit if he drops out of school, since I will still be a student with a valid study permit. Alternatively, his potential employer is open to sponsoring his work visa. In that case, would it be possible for him to hold both an open work permit and a study permit? This would be ideal so he can decide to finish school part time while still working full time. But we cannot find any info online that says whether this is possible. Thanks in advance!
