I don't think ordering gcms would effect if they need more documents or not... maybe they would have asked you anyways... I ordered gcms notes and the status changed to we do not require any more docs from reviewing the docs provided... rest not sure

even I feel the gcms notes has nothing to do with additional documents needed... I seen mine additional documents changed from docs uploaded to do not require any docs.

God only knows when they will change the status from " Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." to something positive.

you will get acknowledgment after2-4 weeks and then applicant will be asked to get link account online and after that they will be requested to submit police clearance and background check form. them medical will be requested... thn wen you receive spousal approval and you file is transferred to ndvo and thn you just have to wait that visa office picks ur file...everyone here is waiting for that...all the best for your case
