Hello
My husband arrived in canada last august 30 2017 and started working because he have a work permit good for two years.
Can i ask if when can i apply for spousal open work permit so that i can follow him and stay with him?
I just heard from others that it must be 6 months or longer in staying of my husband in canada or his work history until i could come to him??
Is that true?
Pls help.
Im from Philippines.

We just have to wait and see, there are instances which might take 6 months also... Else you can contact them through email.

don't think so, you could have applied visa at the same time. In family information form you could have selected option yes as accompanying family member. You can apply for dependent visa anytime. No need to wait for six months. Please login to the cic.gc.ca website and find out whether you are eligible to apply for spousal open work permit. If any conditions as such it will specify. All the best!
