Meh. I can't be bothered, to be honest. We have a rep so I'm just letting them deal with everything. I knew the waiting part would suck.
Its just 5 bucks, extremely easy to order and gives you a world of insights in to whats going on with your application. Highly recommended

Any apps still waiting for background check to start as of today?
EArly March Applicant. BG has been saying "Not Applicable" for over 2 moths now. Had gotten an additional doc request end of July which I responded to within a week. Last time I checked, it (the response to additional doc request) was still pending review by a visa officer. GCMS notes say, Eligibility Passed, Criminality Passed, Medical Passed I think Security is also done but it doesn expressly state that with all the redactions but I see a tiny s.15(1) on the side where it talks of security in the last pages. Eagle333 the notes expert seems to think this S.15(1) means that security is done. Not sure what the hold up is now.

HI guys!!! I'm new here and Sponsoring my husband!
My application was received on March 3, got approved as a sponsor on April 10th, my file was transferred to New Delhi on April 25th, started processing my application on may 7. Then I received a letter asking for medical reports on June 8the (even though I had already provided my husbands medical reports with my application, maybe it expired?? Who knows)... Now my status is saying In Process. Shouldn't I hear something from them by now??

Does your GC key Account says medicals has been passed?
Is BGC in Process and which status is saying as InProcess?

Yes - thanks, I know that. Like I already said, I have a representative, and I paid them to deal with these kinds of things, so it's really not a worry for me.

Cheers & good luck.

HI, I have a representative. Should I ask her to get in contact with them? Should I be worried? It's been 6months since they received my application.

Official timeline is within 12 months. We see some people get much earlier, but nobody knows how soon you (and me) will eventually get. Could be next month, could be next year.
