Additionally, I ordered GCMS notes which were generated on May 19 and July 29. On May 19, my application was transferred to London VO and while there, it seemed untouched except for a change in the secondary office from CIO to Abu Dhabi.
were there due dates on the notes? and were there any red flags? I ordered my notes on the 24th of July and still waiting for it

Due date on the first one was June 25 but I don't believe anything happened. On the second one, it was July 30. No red flags in either notes.

on the July 30 due date may be they looked into your file that what prompted the ADR anyway hope you can obtain the document. How many days did they give to provide the document and if you can share the document requested. Thanks

Sure. They requested RCMP fingerprints for my wife because (I believe) she had a PR card in the past but didn't meet the residency requirements (intentionally) and gave it up. We were given 30 days to obtain the document. The problem we faced is that the request is straightforward if you live in Canada which we don't. Nevertheless, we found a (costly) solution and are just waiting for the results. We should have them by next week at which point we will upload them to myCIC.

Good to hear that the document can be obtained although sad that it is costly, I understand and thanks for sharing I really don't know what is happening to London VO because even if they give out 3 ppr a day at least their will be some progress but the fact that in a whole week no PPR from London it is very sad and discouraging. A lot of files get transferred to London and the file will not be touched for more than 3monts when most of the files transferred has passed the initial Eligibilty, Criminality and medical is just for an officer to review what the case analyst has done but no they keep the files for another 3- 5 months untouched.

Because people that submitted in June and July already have PPR, Just because their applications were processed in Ottawa and other offices

Most folks who have ordered notes have clearly seen that nothing is wrong with their files just untouched and pending officer review

Yes, that is correct. I passed my 6 month mark on July 26 and raised a CSE + sent email on July 27. I only received the automated response. On August 2, I received an email stating there has been an update on my CIC. Logged in and saw the letter from London VO and the status of my Additional Document changed.
Looks like they sleep till the 6 month mark. Then we do a CSE once we cross 6 months. Then they react thinking - Oh yes, its been 6 months. We better do something now.... And hopefully if there is no secondary security checks, it all finally ends before we hit month 7!

mate every single application and file is different... until you cross the 180 day mark, you have absolutely no reason to complain about...

if i use your logic - every single person who landed in canada by 1st Jan 2017 should have a job by now, why is it that someone who landed on 30th March got job before me ? everyone is not measured by the same scale mate :)

only people who cross 180 day mark and are in security screening can really complain. guys who are in security screening also know it could take months before they get PR, thats just how the world works unfortunately.

i'm not just discouraging this - i'm saying its absolutely stupid to start complaning to ministers that others have gotten PR before you - this is not a buffet, neither is it FCFS ...
You miss the point as always how can you say it is stupid NO one is saying they are complaining to minister about July or June Folks we are talking about Slow processing of applications. Your example of job is not even relevant because for job people have different skills so that cant be compared to this subject matter. Also how do you know that everyone who has passed the 6 months mark is on security screening you are also wrong there that's is not the correct position so let it be clear that it is the slow processing of application at a particular VO which files have passed 6months and counting.

Usually, when someone becomes all so patronizing, the best thing to do is ignore the messages. @thestunner316 is the same guy who talked about scores never ever going down below 450. With over 2000 posts and only 199 making any sense, its best to usually just ignore. :)

That could very well be the case. Ultimately, they only need to process 80% of applications within 6 months and they meet their operational targets. Their 2015 and 2016 reports both mention that they achieved this target but fail to mention how long the last 20% have to wait.

Operational Target Met = Score Well on Performance = Go home with a pay check and possible promotion.

Is there an incentive to exceed the 80%? Probably not. Which is why you will see May and June AORs receiving PPR while some in 2016 are still waiting. There is no processing target for the last 20%.
