You'll need to post more information.

1. How long do you intend to visit and why?

2. Do you have any relatives/immediate family in Canada? Would they be hosting/inviting you?

3. Have you traveled to other countries such as the US, UK, Schenge, Australia/NZ, Japan, etc?

4. Is your wife employed? Do you have children? If yes, how old are they and what do they do?

5. Do you live with dependent family members?

6. What other ties can you prove: Property/land ownership? Rent agreement? Good financial investments (locked-in and liquid)?

7. Have you traveled on your US B1/B2 visa? In any case, you can request for expedited CAN+ processing for yourself, not for your wife

Hi,

Your only strong tie is your employment. You don't own property/rental accommodation + no dependent family (if your wife applies with you). Your US B1/B2 could help to some extent. Philippines does not count as travel history.

You must ensure your employment paperwork is strong/cannot be questioned. Also, hope your bank balance matches your income and ITRs = Not borrowed from anyone else to apply for TRVs.

Your wife cannot demonstrate any ties i.e. no employment, no children or dependent family, no property ownership, no previous travel history, etc. As she is not employed, she must explain the source of her bank balance. IMO, overall, the chances of her being approved for a TRV are extremely low.

The visa officer will question why you and your wife want to visit Canada for sightseeing, especially when you don't have previous travel history for this purpose + no relatives/family in Canada.

My advice is:
Option 1:
1. You can try applying alone without your wife. But, this would make your visit for sightseeing alone to appear rather unusual and you would be risking a TRV refusal for 'Purpose of visit'.

A workaround this could be if you have family/relatives in the US + your travel itinerary includes a US visit after you exit Canada. IMO, your application would continue to remain a weak one even with a US holiday component.

Option 2:
2. Or, do NOT apply for Canada TRVs for yourself and your wife at this point in time until both of you establish stronger ties + travel first to the UK/Schengen/Australia & NZ etc

Cheers
