Hi everyone
I applied for urgent PR with the following time line according to my online processing status:
On-Line Services
Permanent Resident Card
- We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 29, 2017.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 2, 2017.
- We started processing your application on June 2, 2017.
- Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on June 9, 2017.
I've also received second review processing delay Email from IRCC in June 7 as follow:
PROCESSING DELAY
This refers to the application(s) for a Permanent Resident Card that you filed with this office. The purpose of this letter is to advise you that a preliminary review of your application has been completed. Your file has now been referred for a secondary review. This review will result in an additional delay. However, we will endeavor to finalize your application as soon as possible. You will be contacted if additional information or documents are required to complete your file.
So what is really confusing me is that:
1-Is this normal if some one get an Email about time delay based on second review & then in just less than 2 days (I mean in June 9th) his online processing status updates to "Your PR Card was sent by mail in
June 9th" ?
2-If my PR is really approved and sent by mail then why my status at processing time is still in the group of
"IN PROCESS (A decision has not been made yet)". Shouldn't my status be in "DECISION MADE
(A decision has been made at this point)"?
I also called to IRCC phone and after I entered my application number then the automated answering
told that " We are pleased to inform you that your PR Card application has been approved and mailed.
For further information refer to your messages" which I haven't received any message yet.
I really appreciate if someone has any advice for me
