Wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. Applied for PR for my spouse, daughter and I , in the mean time we decided to get divorced and the papers were completed. I notified IRCC of the marital status change, now i have recieved a request to pay for my ex wifes rprf. I had already paid for my rprf after the divorce. I have Resent the marital status change on my cic online account. I have now recieved an email from ircc that my application is now in a visa office outside of canada and to contact them with my questions but it doesnt state which country my application is in . Should I just pay the rprf for my ex wife or what should i do ? It states the rprf needs to be paid by may 19th

As a BC Supreme court divorce agent with 197 divorces under my belt and a graduate of the UBC Immigration consultant program,Here is my take.Do not pay her RPRF fee,make sure that she signs the none accompanying parent consent form if you want to bring your child to Canada,In case you do not want to bring your child to Canada,Prepare the statutory declaration that you do not wish your child to ever come to Canada.Warning this is permanent.Send a copy of the divorce certificate to IRCC.You are good to gogoran080481 said:

Yes my daughter will live with her mother for now and no she didn't have medical exam yet becouse they didn't ask for medical yet. I'm waiting for request for medical and then we will have one for her and I.
