Hi guys we landed in Canada on 20th April.I will explain the immigration checks.All the new immigrants should go to a special room. There is a special officer asked the passport and the copr. Then he asked any other things coming by ship. I said no. Then I said I have more than 10000 Canadian dollar.He added that information in my immigration form. He was very friendly, and very lovely. We have to do the sign in the copr in front of the officer. Then he said to me sit down for a while for enter everything in the system. After five minutes he call me and told go the another counter.Then I went to the another counter. That officer told me all the rights and the duties.I gave an address to her to send my pr card. And she gave a lot of leaflets to get more knowledge about Canada.Then she told everything finished, can collect the bags and go.
This is my experience with the immigration in Canada airport. It was very cheerful. Nothing to worry about any questions.Hope every body will get good news soon.

Any April/2016 inland applicants still waiting for PPR????

I sent my application in April 2016 and it started processing in May 2016. Medical Exam done in September 2016 and passed.
Now still waiting.......
No idea what happened during the processing.

Probably you should contact CIC to ask for inquiry and updates...

I have also received the same email.
I have already paid $ 1080 application fee + RPRF Fee at the time of submiting the application.
I don't need to do any action on the similar email.. Right ?

You don't need to repay it that's for sure but it would be great if you respond to the email and re-attach your RPRF receipt.

Are you inland or outland? And regarding your question, yes PCC are part of the requirements of the background check. There is no specific time when this part should start.

At one point in time, you should receive a note requesting the PCC. I suggest you check which ones are needed and prepare for them.

Thanks annie for your advice. I did not get any medical request. i check my mail lot of times even spam mails. But no mail from SVO. Seems your file is processed by Singapore Visa Office and have lots of progress.

I think you need to contact cic regarding your issue because it's been too late for you
