Hi!

Me nareceived din ako, same email ni ECITHUMZS after ng information session last Feb 2017. Kaya lang nagtataka lng ako, bakit s Hongkong ung interview ng employer? Which is ang pagkakaalam ko po dto s philippines ang interview nila. Can someone explain po? Or me nakaencounter na ng ganito ung process ng NewBrunswick?

Thank you.

Eto po ung email

Good day,

This email is intended for individuals who registered and attended the New Brunswick immigration information sessions in Manila in February 2017. If you did not attend any of these sessions, do not respond to this email as it does not apply to you.

We have selected a shortlist of candidates from the sessions who have identified themselves as being in one of three specific category of worker:

home support workers (health sector);
food service supervisors and managers; and
manufacturing workers.

Select New Brunswick employers prefer to conduct interviews in Hong Kong in mid-May, 2017. If you would be interested in attending a session in Hong Kong at this time, please respond to this email by 5:00 AM (Manila time) on Saturday April 15th. Any responses received after this deadline will not be considered.

Once you have confirmed your interest, we will be sending your contact information to employers in your sector and, if they are interested in meeting you, they will contact you directly and request for your CVs/resumes. If you do not hear from them, that indicates they are not interested in you as a candidate.

Once we have determined that there is enough interest by employers, and that enough candidates have committed to attending a session in Hong Kong, we will send more details closer to the event date. For now, the tentative dates would be either during the week of May 15th or the week of May 29th.

If you are interested, and are selected by employers, you will need to have an IELTS and educational credential assessment (ECA) either completed or in process by the time you meet with employers. You will need to provide proof of having these documents or proof that you are in the process of receiving these documents.

All travel arrangements and expenses will be the responsibility of attendees. Employers are not responsible for this.

ONLY reply to this email if you truly intend to go to Hong Kong if invited by an employer. We will not be responding to any questions from individuals at this time.

In your response, please place in the subject line the following:

Answer: YES or NO
Sector: Healthcare, Food Service Management, or Manufacturing

For example: Subject line: YES; Food Service Management

If you fail to provide this information in the format described above, by 5:00 AM (Manila time) on Saturday April 15th, you will not be considered.

May info session/interview kasi ang mga employers this May 21 sa Hongkong, baka isabay lang nila.

Not sure though

Thank you and best

Hi everyone. I also received this email, and I replied Yes immediately. As of now, no emails from NB yet. We'll just hope for the best that employers would consider each of us for a certain job position. :)

Pray hard. :)

Hi mb27.

Sa pagkakaintindi ko dito :

"If you are interested, and are selected by employers, you will need to have an IELTS and educational credential assessment (ECA) either completed or in process by the time you meet with employers. You will need to provide proof of having these documents or proof that you are in the process of receiving these documents."

Na dapat during the interview date, may maipapakita ka na either result na ng IELTS at ECA or any document that would prove na on the process na yung ECA mo and scheduled na yung ielts in the near future. That's my interpretation, pero I'm not sure if that's what they meant.

Guys...? What do you think?
