You get an aor once your application is reviewed and all items on the checklist are included, - file is creaed in their system and you get the application number. Otherwise i assume they put everything into an envelope and its sent back to you via snail mailCdnpr2017 said:So how does it work, do you get aor when your app is processed in Mississauga? And until it's processed it sits in a mail room?
Thats what i said to begin with...Dougmeadows said:Perhaps OP file has been returned
It is too early to assume it has been returned.Dougmeadows said:Perhaps OP file has been returned
Have you received aor yet? I called cic yesterday and they said my app "might not be processed into the system"viva-c said:It is too early to assume it has been returned.
Not yet... hoping for sometime early this week, but fully expecting it might be returned since I know I made a mistake.Cdnpr2017 said:Have you received aor yet? I called cic yesterday and they said my app "might not be processed into the system"
what mistake did you make?viva-c said:Not yet... hoping for sometime early this week, but fully expecting it might be returned since I know I made a mistake.
I included my residential address in the USA, and my mailing address here in Canada (my husband's address) since I'm staying with him as a visitor. Apparently IRCC will frequently return applications where this is the case and a Use Of A Representative form is not included, basically authorizing my husband to receive mail about my application on my behalf, since I am not "living" at the Canadian address. I discovered this mere hours after sending off my application, so I overnighted the Representative form and they received it 1 day after I sent in my application. There is no guarantee that they will link it up with my application before it is processed and (potentially) returned to me, though. Just waiting with my fingers crossed. My app has already been returned once, so I'm really hoping for AOR this time. It's too early to panic though - I won't worry for another few days.Cdnpr2017 said:what mistake did you make?
Check your mailbox, chances are it got returnedCdnpr2017 said:Mine was received the 29. I'm nervous it was lost or something. I know it was received and that's it
I did. It's not there. Following the march spreadsheet, people who submitted before me have not got aor yet.jeffporfirio1 said:Check your mailbox, chances are it got returned
Youre OBSESSING. Never compare yourself to others. Just sit back and wait. Thats ALL you can do. No one here can give you a difinative answerCdnpr2017 said:Also there is people on march spread sheet who's app was received march 3 and 13th that do not have aor
