Hi I have a question. I have submitted my application in Feb and was invited. But I could not get all the docs on time. So the application was expired. Do I need to refill all the online forms again in order to reapply? Thanks in advance.
Did you receive an ITA and you neither submitted the application nor declined the ITA? If yes, then yes, you have to start over - create a new EE profile, get another ITA and proceed.

My Question : I had done a trip to Scandinavia (Denmark,Norway,Sweden, Finland) from 8th April 2016 to 20th April 2016 on a schengen visa (Primary country visa of - Norway),should i mention this as one trip to Norway or separate trips to each country? As I started from India on 8th and came back to India on 20th.So ideally it should be considered as one trip. What should I do?please suggest.

Hi, any clarity on the point asked by someone else in this thread above?
One trip or multiple?

Couldn't locate an answer

Can be considered one trip, IMO. Not 100 % sure though.

This is to be treated as one trip because you get the Schengen visa for a specific country - in this case it is Norway. No one is bothered to know if you traveled to any other country other than Norway. And even if you travel to other countries there is no proof of that trip on your passport. In a nutshell - it is to be considered as one trip. I was also on Schengen visa for Germany but I visited Austria, Italy and Czech Republic. Since Schengen visa is to be treated as one visa there is no evidence on my passport that I visited those countries.

I just got requested by CIC to upload a Saudi Arabian PCC for me and my spouse. I emailed the Canadian Embassy requesting a letter that I can present to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in Saudi Arabia, upon which the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh emailed me this:

Kindly follow the below instructions to obtain a PCC:

If you have applied for immigration in any other office AND if you are residing in Riyadh please send us an e-mail with the name of the Immigration Office handling your application, your immigration file number, full name, and the number of copies needed. (Dependents aged 18 years and above also require a Police Clearance if they are applying with you.) We will then add your name to the gate list so that you can collect your PCC letter from the gate at the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh (Sunday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00)

I haven't copied the other parts of the email because I don't think they're relevant to my query here.

I just want to know certain things:

Firstly, what is the name of my Immigration Office? How do I find out which is my Immigration Office that is handling my application?

Secondly, is my Immigration File Number the same as my Express Entry Profile Number?

Lastly, do I ask them to issue me 2 copies (me and my spouse) or 1 copy as they have also mentioned in the email that the Embassy only issues 1 Letter per Applicant. I'm assuming I'm the only applicant in this case or is it that me and my spouse are considered different applicants so I need 2 letters?

I just want to know certain things:

Firstly, what is the name of my Immigration Office? How do I find out which is my Immigration Office that is handling my application?

Initially, files are processed at Ottawa. So, I believe you can mention Ottawa VO.

Secondly, is my Immigration File Number the same as my Express Entry Profile Number?

Yes. Your EE profile number = Your application number. If you want your UCI, you can e-mail CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with your EE profile number, Name and the AOR date (from the e-mail ID you mentioned on your application). They'll give you your UCI (Unique Client Identifier).

You can mention very clearly that you require "one copy per applicant". If your spouse has spent more than 6 or more months in the country, then he requires PCC too. So, you should request them to issue PCC for both you and your spouse unless both your details are printed on the same PCC (Unlikely).

Don't worry too much! Like I have already mentioned multiple times on this very thread, medicals can take one day to month to be set to "Passed". Relax.
