Visitors Visa (TRV) Processing time 2016 India

Dear Seniors

One of my friend wants apply for Canada Tourist visa for 10days with his family he does not have any travel history, he is working as kitchen servant in India, he has $15000 to 20000 Cad, what are the visa chances for his visa!

He is going to submit
-Bank Statement
-IT returns last 2 yrs
-Leave letter
-Property valuation (more then 4 Cr)
-cover letter
-travel plan for 7- 8days
- Financial summary

For his kid
-school leave letter

His spouse is house wife,

kindly suggest any other documents can we submit to increase visa chances!

what does this mean? does it mean passport is back from canadian embassy to VFS?

Probably by tomorrow the passport will be in the VFS where it was submitted

I am no expert but mostly the employment related documents must be added. Leave letter is not sufficient. Other experts might add more.

Your bank balance must match your income and financial investments..... without borrowing from anyone for the visa application.

The funds you show must cover the costs of your day-by-day tourist itinerary + hotel + airfare + local travel/meals, etc for yourself and your wife.... for the US and Canada

Finally received my visa process done in 2 days submitted on friday 17/10/2016 and approved on 20/10 monday passport recieved on 21 from banglore to ahmedabad but got single entry with 6 month validity .......

You must write the individual available finances

HI EVERYONE
Just want to inform all of you
my mom and dad submitted their paper application on 5th October at ahmedabad vfs.
it was in process on 6th october at Bangalore office
then it said passport is dispatched on 10th October from Bangalore office
as of today 12th October, my mom and dad got their passport and got approved for 10 years multiple visa.
thanks all of you who directly and indirectly help me in this process.
i was expecting that it will take 1 to 2 months for visa but they got in 1 week.

Do we get uci number for visitors visa?
if yes will it be different for me and my wife?

Hi everyone,

I submitted a TRV for my parents on October 12, I filled the forms, uploaded online. they live in Malaysia and my dad is working there. he has a lot of travel history within Asia and Europe.

only thing I didn't provide is tickets, as their travel date is not yet confirmed.(but planning December)

Is it a must to provide tickets?
On the CIC site they say is 13 days processing time, what's the usual processing time like?

so once the approval is done online they have to go to VFS in Malaysia to submit passport and wait for stamping?
