I did my B.A.Sc. in Electrical Eng from uWindsor and M.Eng in Power Eng from uWaterloo. I did M.Eng only because my employer paid for it.

M.Eng. is 12 moths or 16 months program, how long post grad work permit did you get and when. As per PGWP rules course is less than 2 years so PGWP should be 16 moths long.

I think M.Eng is by default a 16-month program. So, it's likely that you may not get 3-year PGWP upon graduation. On the contrary, MAsc/MSc is a 2-year program by which one can get 3-year PGWP.

I did 4-year bachelors here first and so I got 3-year PGWP. You can find the timings in my signature below.
