Application for new PR card sent, what are the timelines?

Hello;

I sent my application on Aug 3 (they received it on Aug 5, as per Canada Post tracking).

It's been three full weeks, anyone know what the current timelines are, at least for an acknowledgement of receipt?

Three weeks is nothing. You might have to wait three, four, five month, depending on all kinds of reasons.

Haha, I know. I'd checked the link before and, as of now, it shows 87 days for processing after they've deemed the application to be complete.

All I want to know though, is how long it will take for them to acknowledge that they received the application, it doesn't specify that on their page (except for the fact that they're working on applications received on May 3, which means I'm on a 3-month queue... Consistent with the ~87-day timeline).

Three months to acknowledge receipt? That makes no sense, if the total processing time is 87 days.

My friends application was delivered on April 1/2016 and she got a message from IRCC at the end of April that her application had been received. eCas hasn't been a real "help" in regards to the status but she got a message a few days ago, that her card is ready for pick up.

I think it really depends on a few things... are you in compliance with the RQ, is something missing (application wise)...

27 days... Got AoR today. Received Fri Aug 5, AoR (e-mail) Thurs Sep 1.

I also saw on the CIC page that the processing time for PR cards is down to 80 days, good.

I tried to check the status of the application online with my UCI number but it said it didn't recognize it, I think (hope) it's only because they haven't started processing yet.
