Posted same question in 2011 forums, that is really active. I got the help and information as below
-My file is in Pending review
-I should have got a letter mentioning that "Application is Complete". I never got that. So my file is waiting for determine if it is complete. So SAD more than six years , did not decided yet if it is complete. Believable
-After that it will be in process and moved to Decision made and medical and Visa issued state.
I am just waiting for information under ATIP
I don't know what else can be done. and why it is sooooo late.

Called call center and found that my files is transferred for secondary review. Very Few files are going this route. Some how they are determining financial eligibility for number of dependents
Does any body know, how much time it would take? . As very few files are going through this route call center agent does not know about what will happen next. One thing for sure, Call center agent have no concern about your issue. They just want to get rid of you as soon as possible. Their tone changed when you ask more questions
Very frustrating. It is really a long long time . Internal feeling is I made really a WRONG decision (to migrate to Canada) 12 years before. Sad So Sad

I had applied for my Citizenship (that is another story .....) and after applying it took 5 years of long wait time to complete to get it. VOW!
Now CIC is processing is 2014, 2015 and 2016 so fast. Case files for these years already ahead of us in processing, just in six months. I did not understand , How CIC can start process on 2014, 2015 and 2016 when they have no time to process our files.
The only reason is political. They just want to prove RED party is more faster than BLUE in processing parents's sponsorship. RED party did some good though. RED party is processing parents's sponsorship only in 1 year. VOW! That 's what they want to show/Prove
I have submitted request under ATIP to tell us how many employees (officer's, agents ) are working on parents applications for 2014, 2105, 2016 VS parents sponsorship application before November 5th, 2011. Lets see what they say. I have also sent and email to Immigration Minster. Let see what he said. I just want to go through the every element of the system
More to that,
On May 14th, I had sent request under ATIP for my case and I was supposed to get answer in 30 days on June 15, 2016. It is already over 1 and half months. No answer yet. Then last week i have filed complaint in Office of privacy commissioner about late response . Office of privacy commissioner said, they need 3 to weeks to get an answer for me. Can you believe?
Oh MY GOD. CIC Is not telling why it is late. Under ATIP , i am NOT getting any information. Privacy commissioner office need 3-5 weeks. MP office AND Immigration Minister's office are NOT able to tell why 2014, 2015 and 2016 are more fast process than before 2011. Because "EVERY FILE IS DIFFERENT" what the heck?
now ONLY OFFICE OF PRIME MINISTER IS LEFT to SEND inquiry .

Sorry to say that but as a my part time Job I am planning to go back to country of origin that is the only solution. Then my kids would be alone here. But i would prefer NOT to leave my parents alone, esp single parent, My mother. I already lost my father. He is passed away.

Applied in Jul2010, Medicals done Aug2015. Received request for Schedule A "again" asking for complete personal history of my parents since their 18th birthday.Sent these documents in Jun2016. Waiting continues...GCMS notes say medicals and criminality passed, security checks pending. Medicals will expire next month so they will ask for medical tests again and delay the application further. Really frustrated, are parents who are on Super Visa in Canada the chosen ones for these kind of delays? is there a pattern? Done numerous inquiries through MP but that does not seem to speed up the application. Visa office is New Delhi and have no dependents on the application. Someone please suggest how to get things moving.
My single parent is on Super Visa in Canada. But my sponsorship file is in Process "Pending Review" . So not at that stage yet. No idea. May be some one else has information about this?amar_bhatia said:
