I have been following this blog and a big fan the way the queries are being answered. I seek guidance too , would be thankful if someone could please guide me.
Actually I have filed my application with all neccessary documents including medical of me and my wife for PR and recieved AOR on 08.04.2016 ,now keeping in mind the average processing time i expect PPR by end of august this year. But now the issue is that my wife is expecting our first baby (due date is 16.12.2016).now if i receive my PPR .what should be my step ,should i uodate VO with the preganant status of my wife what consequences it will have on my application.can this delay processing time further or worst can it lead to rejection of PPR. Please guide me. I will be thankful to you.

Regards

Definitely it won't lead to rejection. Having baby is basic rights :D

If medical is done and passed for your wife (usually people face issue with x-ray since one can't undergo x-ray during pregnancy and CIC holds the file until medical is completed - usually till baby is born), then it all depends on when you are planning to land. If you land before your baby is born, then baby becomes canadian citizen, so no problem. If you land after baby is born, then you would have to include your baby in the PR application. In this case its better to inform CIC. They will ask for your baby's passport (and medical, I think).

Note: if you want to land before baby is born, you may have to check when you will get health card and how your case will be treated by the doctors. Doctors recommend so many tests starting from 6th week and all the results are available in system so that family doc/Paediatrician have access to it. Most of the tests will be same in your home country, but for the tests which are different not sure how they will treat it.

thanks for the valuable input.I was thinking to update VO about the pregnancy after i receive PPR ,Do you think VO will stamp the visa as time gap is of 3 months (expecting baby in dec 16).or should i dont disclose the same and fly to canada straight away after visa stamping.

you shouldn't bothered about it. If you land before the baby is born, then you're good but if you don't get to like in my case, then you have to inform them and they will ask for your PP+COPR and reissue new ones

I dont think not disclosing would be any issue. But I am more concerned about pregnancy since its close to due date. Even if you land it will take some time to get the health card and then how doctors will treat your case (so late in pregnancy, its always better to continue with the same doctor who is taking care of pregnancy from the start.

Also note that Canada health care is not like India, where you pay your fees and visit any doctor. Here doctors (family doctors/paediatricians) and hospital are accessible only through health card. No one will see you even if you are ready to pay. Only walk in clinic (general physician) will be available, it would be expensive and not worth the money. It would have been good if you could come early, but at later stage of pregnancy, it would be better to have child in home country and then come to canada (though process would be delayed).
