Points for age if that changes from the date of entry to pool

Hi - what happens to my points, would they lower in case my age increases post entry to pool? e.g I applied when I was 30 and after three months I would be 31, would my point decrease by 5

I am not sure about cic website but many people on here were in the same situation and their points were automatically adjusted after a birthday.

So it is safe to assume that it will be the same for you. So whenever you have your birthday, you should see your points decrease automatically.

Wow, I wasn't aware of this.

I was barely eligible for Ontario PNP at 401 points. I got my nomination, and then ITA on February 10. I submitted my e-application on March 26. And I turned 36 on April 6. This means I am no longer eligible for Ontario PNP. I assume this doesn't make a difference since I have already applied (right?). However, if somehow I get rejected, my nomination will have gone out of the window too since I am no longer above 400 points. Wow, scary.

You are safe as you did not have age change in the period between ITA and submission of your e-application.

CRS points reduction due to increase in age has no impact on either PNP or e-APR application (even after ITA and before submission of e-APR) As such this is the only exceptional condition.

PNP lock-in date for age of family members

When applying for the PNP, the age of a dependent family member is locked on the date that a PT receives an application for nomination as a member of the provincial nominee class. (“Base” PNP applications are processed using the same lock-in date principle.)

As per existing GCMS functionality, the lock-in date for dependents defaults to the CIC application received date. As a result, processing offices must manually update in GCMS the lock-in dates for dependents of PNP applicants, in order to trigger the appropriate dependent cost recovery fee(s) based on the date the PT originally received the application for nomination. The processing office must then request the appropriate fees from the applicant or refund fees where applicable.

Are you referring to EE's ITA? what if I was 30 when I applied for PNP but I turned 31 when PNP nominated me?

When I apply for EE then my score would be reduced by 5?
