Hi guys,

I have to apply for BOWP as my WP is expiring in 40 days. Can some one please tell me the process. I have applied for PR under EE 9 months ago. Have AOR ready.
A detailed response would be appreciated.

Thanks

As you mentioned above,

I think your e‑APR has passed the R10 completeness check. So you should apply BOWP now, the processing time depending on your application and the officer, as far as I know, most of people from this forum got BOWP approval about 8-12 weeks or less after submission.

All the best

My BOWP just came in the mail today. You can apply online with the AOR you received when you submitted your e-APR. You can check processing times here. Mine was approved at around 25 days, and the actual work permit arrived today via mail. It valid for a year from the date the work permit was approved, and not from the date of expiry of your current work permit.

Eligibility stays in process until you receive PPR. Did you order GCMS notes? I'd say wait another 30 days and then apply for your BOWP. I hope you receive PPR before that.

Apply for a regular work permit they will ask for medicals as proof of your pr application. Did mine earlier this year and it came in 4 weeks even before i was sure of the r10

I applied 6 months after my previous work permit expired and was approved within 1 month,
So you applied you BOWP after your old work. Permit expired? and it's expired 6 months? Were you under any legal status when you applied your BOWP?
