Is it a wise decision to move to Canada as a Manufacturing Manager?

Hi folks,

May I get an opinion on options for Manufacturing managers (NOC 0911) in Canada? How's the market there and how easy it is to get a job in Toronto or GTA? How should I start my job search (best job search portals or other means)? What would be the salary range for someone with 10 years experience , having held roles such a Six Sigma Black belt, Operations Manager and Group Manager at a US Multi national corporation (but working in its Singapore entity) ?

Any info will be highly appreciated! Thanks so much for your time!

Regards,
Neela

I'm curious about this topic as well. Why no replies??

I'm also a manufacturing manager headed to Toronto or GTA after I hopefully get my PR soon. My qualification is Masters in Industrial Engineering.

Any Industrial engineers here? Any manufacturing professionals here? Let's network.

I believe the best way to check the demand of your profession is to explore job bank, workopolis, wowjobs, etc. these sites will give u an idea of vacancies and the job requirements..Also google for manufacturing companies that are related to your current firm..send email/CV to HR..

When you think of moving to Canada you must hope for the best but be ready for the worst.
