My name is Maangat from Ludhiana punjab . Applied online sowp on 2 February 2016 with upfront medical . My spouse submitted my application through her CIC account on the behalf of me . She has post graduate work permit . I worried about my application . I didn't get any updates even no info upload about my medical passed . So can anyone tell me about the procedure and processing time of applications

hi, i see we almost have the same case.
my husband applied for me and my son through his MY CIC account online in canada,
but since we are in our country, it is automatically outside canada application.
he is under PGWP 3years.

just had our PPR through email.

i am anxious this time, because when he applied he was under NOC A.
he had to move in SK. this time he is under NOC C. two jobs in saskatoon health region.

any advice what to do?

Applied end of february.

Your spouse is a student or worker in canada?

I believe you applied online (It will take up to 3 months or even more to get the outcome)

In-progress- they are reviewing your application.

Open - The decision is not made yet. You application is in open state.

@greenhak: Thanks a bunch... Yes we applied Online ...i guess online processing time says 2 months and one of my collegue applied too in january 2016 he got his spouse visa in 55 days.... Hoping for the best!

My spouse is Worker NOC 2211 in Canada... Also we planning to attach the PNP nomination certificate letter he just received ! Will that help whats your say ?

I am in similar boat. I live in Toronto and my wife has applied online for SOWP from India on March 13th. We did the medical upfront and the online application shows Medical as "passed". Currently, the other documents are being reviewed.

Happy to hear that you have colleagues who got their approvals in 55 days. I have been worried since people on this forum have seen much longer time for online applications

I applied one for my spouse and she is in my India we applied on 4th of March . We dint do the medical either waiting for request ! ]

Yeah exactly..

Looks like people are waiting for over 140 days.. The colleague of siddharth's case gave me a relief.. Please keep us posted when your case is progressed to the next stage.

I applied for AINP in beginning 2015 under EDS NOC 2282 but havent received my nomination yet I am on PGWP at the moment my wife just received her pgwp she has secured NOC B 1221 job and has already started working there we got married in canada sept 2014 we have a daugher who is a citizen my pgwp is set to expire nov 2016 what are the chances that they will issue me a spouse wp and will it be equal to my wifes pgwp which is upto April 2019 and we both are in canada and what is the wait time and the success rate for this ? My wife recently graduated with a masters degree from alberta she will be applying for ainp under SRS pgworker category next week . Your reply is appreciated .
