They're not asking for too much.
You don't need to send them boarding cards or pay stubs or employer letters or CRA notices of assessment or anything like that. Just be accurate in everything you write down.
Should they doubt it and send you an RQ, then you'll have to send them all that stuff. It's best to start thinking about all this extra documentation AFTER you've sent your documentation. Just keep it all handy in case they request it later on.
the below documents are enough to apply :
Record of Landing (IMM 1000), or
Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5688), and
Permanent resident card (PRC) if you have one.
Language proof if you are 18-64 years of age
Biographical page of passport(s)/travel document(s)
a Canadian driver’s licence
a Canadian health insurance card
a copy of the biographical page of your passport/travel document, etc.
Payment receipt
Print out of the On-line Physical Presence Calculator; or How to calculate Physical Presence (CIT 0407) form
Residence Outside Canada form (CIT 0177) fully completed, dated, and signed, if applicable.
Police certificate(s) (as required)
