Hi All,

I created my Express entry profile today afternoon and just a few hours back I received a message in my CIC account as follows.
Express Entry - Provincial/Territorial Interest Letter - Ontario would like to consider you under their Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter.
What does this mean ? What should I be doing next ?

My IELTS score was
Listening - 8.5
Writing - 8
Speaking - 7.5
Reading - 7
Overall Score - 8

My CRS score was 440.

Warm Regards,

Because you have >400 CRS and you indicated you want to reside in Ontario, you are eligible to apply OPNP for EE

Hi, how long did it take before you received the letter from Ontario? I just updated my profile right now to show that I would want to reside in Ontario.

Congrats on the invite. You will need to do the following.
1. You accept the invite by filling up the OINP Nomination Application Form (you can download the form from the link in the Application Guide)
2. Arrange copies of all documents which evidences your claims in the Express Entry profile (refer to the Application Guide on this page to see the process and list of documents that needs to be submitted http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL.html)
3. Get a bank draft for CAD 1500
4. Submit all of the above to OINP, MCIIT (details in the Application Guide) within 45 days from the day you received the PT Notification of Interest from Ontario.

As per OINP updated dated January 11, 2016, you also need to place order for duplicate copy of your ECA report to be sent to OINP (electronic). Once the order has been placed, download the receipt and submit it as part of the above application package. You can find the full update here http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html

Hi,

I have sent my application to OINP on 28-12-15 & Received by the office on 04-01-16... I have attached only the copy of ECA (WES) as mentioned in the guidebook.

After seeing this post - i realized i need to order a duplicate copy of ECA through WES. Since my application is submitted before this notification - should i wait till i get the acknowledgement of Receipt or i have to order duplicate ECA online. The guidebook says any communication from the applicant within 90 days from the date of receipt will not be entertained.

I am not really sure what to do now... Can you help

Express Entry profile Submitted 04-Dec-2015
Provincial/Territorial Interest Letter Received 04-Dec-2015
Application Package sent to OINP - 28-Dec-2015
Application Package Delivered at OINP 04-Jan-2016
Silence ever since :(

You can do any of the following.

1. Send it now or
2. Send it after you get AOR

My application was received by OINP in November. I got my AOR on March 1st, so I placed the order after I got the AOR. Some people have even ordered it before they received the AOR.

Thank you for the response. Good to know you received AOR :)

Is the AOR Receipt and Nomination happens at the same time or there is a time lag of another 90 days for that as well

This technically means OINP will take the 90 days time for all applicants. Nov-Dec-Jan in your case and mine will be Jan-Feb-Mar.

Thanks. Yes, OINP will review documents post AOR and will take up to 90 days to get back on their decision regarding nomination.

Hi all,

How you people all getting nomination from Ontario pls guide us.

My husband has got crs>400 i.e 415 under CEC category. He has applied as single (without spouse and dependents ). He has submitted his EE profile on July 2015 after making few changes he has resubmitted his profile on oct 2015. But still now he has not received his Ontario nomination.

He has written his celpip exam in Canada.

Please answer my questions
Question1: do we need to select only one province for which we are expecting nomination.eg: if we are expecting nomination from Ontario do we need to select only Ontario province in our EE profile. Actually my husband has selected all the provinces.

Question2: do we need to make any changes in EE profile to get Ontario nomination

Question3: my husband has currently done his executive MBA and waiting for his certificates. Does Wes accepts this program and does he has got any chances for increase in his score once we update this program in his education. If Wes accepts this program how much the points would get increase.

Please guide us!!

Hi,

I received the Ontario PNP Interest today. I was wondering how much time I have before I can send my application in order to be considered. I've seen that you said 45 days but i've read 6 months on some other thread. Please clarify? How long do I have to make a decision, and send across my application...and how long do they generally take to process the application.

Thanks!

If you're applying under the Human Capital category, you've 6 months to accept the NOI. However, one you register on Ontario's e-filing portal, you've only 14 days to submit your application.

Good luck.

Thank you so much!

Another query I had was, should the job experience be within the last 5 yrs or 10 yrs. Again there's conflicting information regarding this. Should I necessarily have the specific NOC that they are mentioning? Because one of the NOC meets my job description but that was in 2011. I do have other work experience but that NOC isn't mentioned for OINP. Kindly reply.

Thanks!
