Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Thank you for starting this thread ;D

I am also a mechanical engineer but worked in different roles like CAD Engineer, Design Engineer, Quality Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer/Estimator, Team Leader. My question is whether CIC will consider the above roles in NOC 2132?

They should. I was a similar case and received PPR.

Depends on the majority of your work duties. If most of the time your duties lines up with 2132, go with 2132.

Titles doesn't matter very much.

I studied as Mech Engineer, got a job as junior engineer, but my work lines up better with 2232 and I went with that.

Currently I'm living in India on an open work permit and hopefully I'll soon get transferred to Canada in the same company. I'll be doing the same job in Canada which I am doing right now. Do I need to get any professional engineering certification in Canada for my work? I am working as a senior fire protection engineer/estimator.

Dear friends

I have already sent my application for residentship in November 2015 as an FSW Outland candidate. I chose my NOC to be 2132 (mechanical engineer).

I did b. Tech in mechanical from India. After that I did master of engineering In manufacturing technology from recognised university in Australia. I am claiming points for this very masters deegre only. Hence , I only submitted my masters deegre for evaluation to WES, which was successfully evaluated as masters deegee by WES.
But since my NOC is 2132- mechanical engineer, did I commit blunder by not getting my bachelor's degree (b.tech mechanical) evaluated from WES. Will it cause rejection in my case?
If that is the case what should be done as a proactive approach to rectify it. As of now my application shows medical clear and eligibility in progress. No background check started yet. AOR is 25th Nov.
Experts, Please provide your feedback.

Regards.

My recommendation would be to get one more WES done for your B.Tech and get it updated using CSE. It takes time to get application moving, so in the mean time you will have WES ready and by the time your application moves you can have it updated as well.

What has happened has happened, no use worrying about it. Focus on the next course of action.

Seniors please give your sugegstion.

The ECA for your highest qualification is what is required. Submitting ECAs for lower qualification is okay but not obligatory because you only get points for your highest qualification. I think you have nothing to worry about.

Hello All,

I am mechanical engineer and having Indian Work experience as a Project Engineer and nearly 2 years Canadian work experience as a Mechanical Estimator - HVAC.
Should I apply PR Under NOC 2132 or 2232. If I see job roles and responsibilities are better matching with 2232 ?

Also, when I applied my wife's spousal visa, I mentioned my job position as a NOC 2132 in her cover letter, will it create any problem while processing my application as a NOC 2232 ?

Need your suggestion seniors.

Thanks in advance.
