Email Received for PPR but nothing in MY CIC

Hi All,

I have received an email to send passport to CPC ottawa - PR from CIC with instruction but there is no update to MY CIC account. It still shows in-progress. Anyone with same situation?

Subject Line of the email:Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa

Any info on the above is highly appreciated.

Hi Dennia,

I see you have already landed. So did you get anything updated in your MY CIC account?

They have been having issues with their online system for a very long time now and moreover the requirement for CIC as per their link is to send an email to the applicant and not update our EE profiles. Check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/final.asp.

I suggest you proceed with the process as instructed in 30days and also congrats

From what I have been monitoring in the forums, many august applicants are getting this email,but none getting their EE profile updated or a message in their CIC account.

First of all Congratulation for PPR, as long as you received email from cic to send Passport which mean your application has been approved. Once cic received your passport and photo your mycic will be update.
