Hi Asivad ur reply on my question will be really appreciated.

I am an applicant living in Canada on my PGWP(Birth place : India). I am not sure if I need to send my passport to CPCO (Ottawa center) or just photocopies of passport pages with amendments. The letter received from CIC is kind of confusing. Just want to confirm sending passport is only required for Outland applicants and not for Inland applicants. Please advise me if I need to send my passport.


If you require a visa to enter Canada:

You will need to submit the passport for you and for each accompanying family member. Your passport(s) must be valid for at least 6 months and have at least two blank pages. If a child is included on your passport, you must have one blank page per accompanying child.

Please note that if you are permanent residents of the U.S.A. AND holders of passports from countries which require visa to enter Canada, you are still required to submit your passport(s).

If you do not require a visa to enter Canada:

You will need to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and one for each accompanying family member. Please do not send your passport(s). Your passport(s) must be valid for at least 6 months.

Please clarify this issue. I have a deposit account with 10000 USD. There were no transactions on this account. I did not withdraw money.

So my certificate states:

15 December - balance 10000 USD
15 November - balance 10000 USD
15 October - balance 10000 USD
15 September - balance 10000 USD
15 August - balance 10000 USD
15 July - balance 10000 USD

Is it fine for CIC?

8 years is more than enough. CRS maxes out at 3 years and FSWP maxes out at 6 years. Anything older than that doesn't add anything to your application.

For the other episode older than 8 years, I don't have an employer reference letter in company letterhead, but I do have an affidavit from the manager and other documents such as service certificate, payslips, tax forms etc. Do I go ahead and mention episode as well in work history and upload the available documents, or shall i avoid the confusion and not mention this work at all in work history, but just mention this is personal or address history?

Please help, since this is troubling me a bit.. :'( :'(

I had SINP PNP and got an ITA, subsequently PR application was rejected due to the PCC problem.
as per your suggestion, I re-created my EE profile and I now got an OPNP interest.
SINP is valid till about May 2016. I have already asked the SINP team to transfer the PN to the new profile. Hopefully they shall be doing soon.

Now, I require your guidance, should I put in application for On also , which would atleast take about 3 months. I can wait for that long, as SINP validity is till May 2016.
On application filing would also cost me 1500 CAD fee. On the other side, I do have lots of relatives in On. Could you pls guide.

When SINP transfers your nomination to another profile, you will be awarded 600 points and you cannot apply for any other province after you have accepted a nomination from a province. So, you either go with SINP (if they agree to transfer your nomination) OR cancel SINP nomination and go for Ontario (Extremely risky - There is no guarantee that you'll get nominated by Ontario - I do NOT recommend this.)

Wait for SINP to respond and then take a decision. Your OINP invite can wait.

You get maximum CRS points for 3 years of foreign work experience - Why do you bother about the previous work experience. If you have all the documentation for the work experience that gives you maximum points, then mention only that. The rest of the jobs can be removed from the employment section and retained in the Personal (&Address) History Section alone.

IMO, this is perfectly fine.

Its very simple.

If you are a citizen of a country that requires visas to enter Canada, YES, you need to send the passport. (Eg. India)

If you are a country that does not require a visa to enter Canada, NO, you need NOT send the passport.

What about ECAS access? Do I get a message about it through MyCIC? I heard some people saying that it's down or that it doesn't send messages to MyCIC. In such case, how do I know when I get granted ECAS access?

You should've already got ECAS access - keep checking on the site and make sure that you are entering all the required information accurately. The most common reason for non-access is incorrect login information. You won't get any message in MyCIC about ECAS.

UMI number from the Medicals check report (U00#######). I've tried it under all the available identification types, both with the UMI and without.
Payment receipt number (O#########). Tried it with all the different identification types too!

Needless to say I've double checked all the other info (surename, DOB, place of birth).

What do you reckon?

In the absence of UCI, the EE application number option is the only one that will work along with Identification Type as 'Application number/Case number'. Try using Chrome if you've been using a different browser so far.

Below is the list of documents I have to prove my experience and this is only what I have to prove experience. Please have a look and guide me if I need something else.:-

Company 1 - Syrup technologies - 7 months (NOC 2283) Dec 2012 to July 2013
1) Experience letter on company letterhead with contact details with official stamp: Name, position held, duration, number of hours (37.5), annual salary and duties and responsibilities.
2) All pay stubs

This would suffice. Pay stubs not required as annual salary is mentioned in the reference letter.

Company 2 - Accenture UK - 18 months (NOC 2283) July 2010 to Dec 2011
1) Experience letter having my name , position held, duration, annual salary, number of hours with contact details on letterhead with official seal. They refused to provide me duties. I have email to prove that they dont provide duties as per their policy.
2) All pubstubs
3) Affidavit from co-worker explaining duties covering 1 year of 18 months.
4) Bank statement where salary credited for whole period.

This would suffice. Pay stubs and bank statement not required as annual salary is mentioned in the reference letter.

Company 3 - HCL India - 2 years (On contract) NOC 2174 Aug 2007 to Aug 2009
1) Experience letter with name, position, duration, number of hours (37.5 hours per week) and duties performed.
2) No annual salary mentioned instead written --- work experience was fully paid.
2) No paystubs available.
4) Bank statement available showing salary paid into my account for almost (around 20 months) out of 2 years. My employee ID is mentioned in experience letter and even salary is credited in bank account with same employee id number.

This would suffice. Bank statement not required as 'paid experience' is explicitly mentioned in the reference letter.

Recently, I found 3 contract extension letter at my home. Each letter provides my contract extension of 6 months and each letter mention my salary. Each of these letters saying that we are extending your initial offer of retainership dated (date of initial employment) for 6 months. But unfortunately, I lost my initial letter of contract with all the term and conditions of my employment with them. Do you think I can use these 3 letters plus bank statements to prove what I being paid.

Not needed as you have the reference letter.

According to you, out of three experience, which one I should make my primary NOC. I am planning to make Company 3 because it is of 2 years with all information like duties and hours per week. only salary is missing which i can prove by bank statement.

Either of those can be your primary NOC - either of them would give you 11 points on the FSW scale. And both of these put together would give you 3+ years of foreign work experience on the CRS grid (assuming that none of these are Canadian work experience).

I started making my EE profile today. Shall I include my husband foreign experience in profile? because if we include we need to submit documentation to prove my spouse experience and that will be hectic in India. Would not it be misrepersentation if we leave his experience in profile. We are not claiming any points for his experience anyway.

No difference if you include or leave it out. You don't get points for it. It is not misrepresentation. Even if you include it and are asked for documentation, you can upload whatever document you have and those will still be ignored by the officer because that section doesn't give you any points.
