Scarborough office / timeline after test

Hi guys. I just took the test on December 18 @Scarborough office.

My ecas still shows 'In process' from July 6. Has the ecas changed for anyone on here who took the test? Is it a Scarborough office thing to not update ecas?

Give it a few days. Should change sometime next week. Don't worry. Oath should be within 3 months after DM. Good luck.

I got my pink letter sometime last week and still eCas doesn't show a new line regarding oath.


From test to DM it takes 2-3days normally to show in eCas. Good luck.

Is there any chart or google doc that tracks the progress of Citizenship applications under new rules (4/6 years), especially for Scarborough, ON applications.

Vancouver and Calgary visa offices are processing applications quite fast but have no idea about Scarborough, ON.

Probably, this office has lot of work load but quite notoriously takes much longer time. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Still waiting for Oath,
PS. The officer after i passed the test with 19/20 mentioned that they will ask for my exit records from The department responsible for exit records. Since i had traveled alot but had the number of days required(all part of their procedures i guess).

Congratulations to oath takers and goodluck to all the rest.

Consider requesting your travel record from CBSA, though it takes about 6 weeks. Hopefully CIC might get it faster, but dont take chance and you can request its as a precaution. Wish you all the best.

Decision made means records were already requested, received and application is approved; no further processing at this point other than scheduling oath.

It takes 48 hours for Ecase system to reflect any changes.

Give it a few more weeks, this week and next week if nothing then first two weeks of Jan since you already have the DM status since Oct 15. Good luck.

Congrats !!!, its just matter of scheduling and accommodating the candidates for the Oath ceremonies. Hopefully, you can expect something in few weeks.

Hey! So i have been following this thread for quite sometime now and i finally decided to post! I have sent in my citizenship application in Oct 2014. Started processing in January 2015. Test invite was on April 22 2015, and my Ecas has been in process since then! It is getting really frustrating! I have called cic but they were no help! What do i do! And im a single routine applicant, havent been asked for any additional documents!

My Status today morning changed to 'Decision Made'

When I click on 'Decision Made' it still says 'In Process since July 6' lol

My office is Scarborough
I wrote the test on Friday December 18
I guess now the wait for Oath letter begins

Hi Friends,
Finally!!!! My status now says "Decision Made". There is no new line for oath yet, though. Not sure when will that be. I am at least happy that the status is updated after more than 9 months.
