@mpjaved - Thank you!

Yet another disappointment! There is no way I can reach close to even 400 in that case... Unfortunately she only hold a bachelor' degree! :(

Hi Everyone,

My score is 322. I don't feel I have a chance here. For your information, Here is the update -

The last draw (16th) held on September 8th, 2015
- it invites 1517 candidates.
- The last score was 459.
Summary of this year
- 16 draws so far
- Lowest Score ever offered was 451.
- Just 7 draws left for this year.
- Invited so far 20,422. So, they will need to invite 29,578 more candidates to fulfil the quota (50,000).

However, more people are adding each day. So, I don't think people below 400 might have any chance. That means, No job offer no ITA for people within 300-350.

I wish, I might be wrong.

Thanks
Boorhan

I am not manidhatt but I will try to answer on your question

Spouse or common-law partner factors
Factors Points per factor
(Maximum 40 points)
Level of education 10
Official language proficiency 20
Canadian

Official languages proficiency - second official language

Maximum points for each ability (reading, writing, speaking and listening):
6 with a spouse or common-law partner (up to a combined maximum of 22 points)

max 20 for spouse official language proficiency and max 22 for your second language proficiency so in total
max your score will be increased on 42 and will be reached 407
Hi can u give me some more points on this...

Official language proficiency means is it IELTS? What is second official language??

Hi Everyone,

I have a small question. Initially I thought it is impossible to get invitation for 300-350 and even 350-400. But please look at the statistics here.
" Google for express entry mid year report" (I'm not allowed to post links :()

If you closely observe the number of invitations are on average 1500 per round in recent rounds. And the people in the upper pools will be totally gone soon and even if new people with high scores are added, they don't account for much. And if they continue to give invitations like this in the next few rounds the major chunk of people i.e 14000+ from 350-400 will be gone in say next 10 rounds.

These 14000 people are most probably the people with "Canadian experience" or students in Canada. So my guess is that pool is not going to be filled up so quickly in future. the next turn probably by next "MARCH" will be for 300-350.

What is your opinion? Am I missing anything here?

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

Invitation for 300-350 is still tough, if you look into mid year report you will find that maximum people invited have previous canada work experience.
Also, number of applicant is increasing day by day and most of them are having their score 400+. So, still chances are lesser for us.

But still hoping for best and speed up.

Thanks.

Hello frnds,

My score is 359 with spouse, as per me so far CIC has given 22k ITAs (in 18/25 draws) to people, as rumors around say that this year's quota is around 1.8 lakh, this gives me a +ve hope that we are still there in the race because they have to come down to at least 300-350 mark in order to reach the yearly limit of candidates. There are 1.58 lakhs still to be selected.

Don't loose hope, score will surely come down :)

I am interested to know the role of Job bank in the whole process. Does it really help people, outside of Canada, get the Job or is it just a formality for people to remain hopeful?

Without getting EE profile created , I filled up some job openings but for all of those I got a reply that they are looking for the candidates in Canada.

Does that situation change with EE profile created now? will employers give a chance to the people outside?

Dear All

If we do simple mathematics earlier 67% was required 67points in 100 point based system

Now in EE 1200 points if we leave 600 points of job or PNP aside

67% of 600= 402

We have to increase our points beyond 400 if we are planing to get visa without job offer or PNP.
