Hi All,

My question is for all the PPR holders regarding medicals to be submitted for PR application. Lately, there have been a lot of confusion and disturbance for applications being rejected on medical grounds.

The reason for rejection that is stated by all these rejected applicants is:
Specifically, your application does not include the following elements:
- Upfront medical report
Invalid medical as medical has been assessed for Temporary residence only

Now that all these people had done "Non EDE/ Worker" type of medicals and had also confirmed from their Panel Physician if that type is for "Permanent Residence", still their application got rejected.

I would just like to ask few questions from all of you for better clarity and assurance on my part before undergoing medicals:
1. Which type of medicals did you do?
2. Which panel Physician did u chose in Mumbai? Which hospital particularly? Lilavati or Clinical diagnostic center?
3. Which all tests were done?
4. Is there a way to confirm and assess if thats the right type of medical?
5. Did u do it after ITA or before ITA?..and how long did you wait to see the status as "Medical Passed"

I would highly appreciate for all the help. Thanks

hi preeti,

Even though the msg from cic to the rejected applicants says that category was wrong. it's still not 100% confirmed that it is the real reason. Because some ppl earlier got PPR even though they had done medicals category NON ede / worker they got their PR approved..

My medicals is also NON EDE worker.. my medical passed 2 days after i submitted my application. I did my medicals after the ITA.

In medical test itself
- blood, urine, eye test, and height weight is measured.
- finally doctors consultation

501 Medical Examination
502 Chest X-Ray Examination
707 HIV test
712 Syphilis test (VDRL or RPR)
