Have your wife had medical done when you submitted the file first. ??? if not or if they asked then do what they are asking. it is a re med request whether you received form or not.

Just book appointment for the medical at IOM islamabad, KHI or Lahore. they dont require medical request or form. copy of email will be enough.

i live in Canada and i applied for my wife she is in Pakistan

today we received an email about the police certificates and medical


Please be advised that, in order for us to continue processing your application, we require the following:

- Updated, original Pakistan Police Certificate(s). Police clearance(s) should cover both current and previous addresses.

- Your medical examination results remain outstanding.

Please submit the requested documentation/information to us within 45 days including a copy of this email as a cover letter. Please submit all the above documents to us at the same time, quoting your file number (shown in the subject line above) on all correspondence, including on the envelope.

i didn't understand that do i need to submit the medical of my wife ? is it a re-medical request or i have to submit only police clearance?
because we didn't receive re-medical request form with it

Please someone guide me who has knowledge of it

Dear fellows,
i need some information and guidance. I applied for my spouse sponsorship from quebec. My time line is as follows.
Applied: 13th april 2015
AOR received: 5th may 2015
file transfered to LOV: 4th june 2015


Is it necessary to stay in quebec till my spouse gets visa or i can move in any other part of Canada as i have got job in another provence. I am planing to apply and wait to get CSQ before moving.

Hi ! Everyone
I want to ask when i check my eCas status with the file number and Husband's (principle applicant) name then it shows the status like file and medical have been received. My question is when i put UCI # and my name nothing comes up and it gives me a error message. Is it normal ?
One more thing ! my husband's passport will be expired in few months but he got a new one now as he's planning to apply for a visitor visa do i have to inform LVO right away regarding new passport number?

My lawyer said not to submit originals but I insisted on submitting originals so he did. He said it doesn't make any difference as long as the copies are attested properly CIC wouldn't be concerned. So I think it doesn't really matter and its totally upto you. In my opinion as long as CIC returns our original documents back it's always safer to submit originals rather thn coming up with troubles later down the lane on submission of improperly attested copies.. So yeah go with what you think is right in ur opinion and good luck!

We can not set an example if someone has only sent attested copies of degrees & Nikah Nama and CIC didn't ask for originals. During the eligibility assessment of applicant LVO might ask your friend for originals.

For PAKISTANI applicants it is compulsory to submit originals else try your luck. It may add 1 more month to your file compare to avg processing time.

I would strongly recommend don't follow your friend and submit ORIGINALS along with the translations and affidavit as per CIC criteria.

Im new to this forum. My application for spousal sponsorship was submitted Jan 3, 2014- sponsor approval came in Feb 14. We have not heard from CIC post that. Notes were ordered which show last this application was worked on in Nov 14 and is in the interview line up as they want to see communication post the marraige and why my husband has not visited me here since. Also they are dissatisfied on how this is a love marraige in a country like pakistan, which is something 'out of cultural norm'
Now I have a couple of questions:
Is anyone else in the interview line up? when was their case filed?
How many months on avg does interview add to the process?
Is there a way to move out of this line up by submitting the documents they have mentioned in the notes- to have been brought?
I have a 3.5 year visit visa to canada, and I visited for a month and submitted proof of us meeting last year as well in another country - now will these proofs and my visit details be attached to my case?
Sshould we be requesting case specific enquiry (not notes)? Does that help?
Does visiting an MP help?
I personally think its high time we havent heard from them i.e. 16 motnhs. No medical re-requests or police certs. Last Jan notes show eligibility has also not started.

Them yet? Remedical or anything? My husbands medical expires in 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything from them and I'm a little bit worried.
