Just wanted to give a quick passport update.

Citizenship Ceremony: May 7
Applied for Passport: May 8 (regular processing)
Expected Passport Mail-out Date: May 25
Actual Passport Mail-out Date: May 12
Passport Delivered: May 14

Mandamus August 2014
Test Oct. 2014
RQ for husband Oct. 2014 Submitted Nov. 2014
Transferred to Judge December 2014
No news since that time
I am thinking about going to a second mandamus soon

finally got transferred to Kitchener office on May 21 after being processed since Mar.24

got the test letter on June.29 to get the test done on July 10.

That is truly amazing . Browsing in the forum you can see 2014 RQ applicants getting their oaths in July yet the keep a 2011 applicant in limbo. I think they enjoy abusing the remaining 2011-2012 applicants for some reason.

To be honest cic is really stupid and all they care about is processing data. No matter how long you wait, they just put them in the category of over 12 months. I think if you are qualified under the new law, withdrawing the old application and submiting another one would probably make your application even faster.

How long will it takes to send a letter for test? Any idea...

Hi all, I just received a letter to do fingerprints...in the last communication with CIC, whether through the MP or through contacting their Call Centre, they said our case has been referred to a Citizenship Judge and is in the queue...so what do you think about getting a request to do Fingerprints now? Is it a positive sign?
