Submit the passport letter means the visa is approved

2 weeks ago , I have applied a temporary visit visa for my mother and mother in law using online application. Today they sent me a letter to submit their passports.

Does it means they have approved their visa?

In case of refusal , they usually send the refusal through email or they request the passport to stamp a refusal on it?

Yes it means it is approved then only they need the Passport

Congrats Shriif wow too fast to get the response ...good to know that but My mother in law applied in Canadian Visa center it has been a month did not get any response from Visa Center yet. May I know how long does it take to then the response from them and also I track the application status online which just shows the message " Your passport has been forward to Canadian Visa office". Kindly waiting for response..
