Points for age - how to calculate

Just out of curiosity: are the age points calculated at the time of submission of EE profile, or at the time of ITA? For example, I submit my profile in August when I am 31 years old. But in September I turn 32, which lowers my score by 5 points. Would EE profile automatically make an adjustment or would it go by my original points for the draw? Let's say I have 672 points (let's say this is the cut off for this draw) when I'm 31 but once I get an ITA I am already 32 and now my points go down to 667 making me essentially ineligible. Is that even possible, or how does that work?

They will update you points according yo your circumstances. As you age, your points will change accordingly.

If you have a birthday while waiting for an ITA, your points will be recalculated automatically and your MyCIC will reflect the new score. If you have a birthday after ITA, your profile is locked at the CRS score based on which you got an ITA so it doesn't impact application processing.
