passport and blank pages

I know we (as main applicant) have to provide blank pages of passport, but I have new one with one page of bio info and rest blank pages, should i still scan them?

Include a copy of the page that shows your birth date, country of origin, etc. any pages with stamps, visas or markings. If you are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, a citizen of Denmark living in Greenland, or a citizen of France living in St. Pierre and Miquelon, you are not required to present a passport. You may present an identity document. Your identity document must show proof of status or citizenship as well as photo identification. Your identity document must include your name, photo, date of birth, document number, and the issue and expiry dates. This document must be issued by your country of citizenship or permanent residence. You must ensure that the identity document you present provides proof of status or citizenship and photo identification. If not, you must scan all necessary identity documents and save them under one identity document file.

You absolutely make sense! I don't get where people were people got the idea that we should also upload the blank pages.

It depends where you are applying to and what they require. Ontario PNP does, but not CIC.

scan the whole damn thing. Old/New ... even any other imaginary passports that you might possess.

They do things "by the book" so don't give them any reasons to reject your application.

As HakikiKanada rightly said, if it's an EE application then scan the biodata page of your passport along with stamps and markings. Noone asked you to scan blank pages for EE applications as you can see following the guidelines.

In my request letter it states, please provide photocopy of your passport (all pages)....

So I scanned all stamped and blank pages but I didn't include work permits from Canada.

As HakikiKanada rightly said, if it's an EE application then scan the biodata page of your passport along with stamps and markings. Noone asked you to scan blank pages for EE applications as you can see following the guidelines.

If you would please look at page 16/40 of the OOPNP GUIDE you will find that it says:

1. The passport copy must include clear copies of each page including all blank pages, Temporary Resident Visas, entry stamps, and/or any other immigration stamps. You must also include copies of Work Permits, Study Permits, and/or any other Canadian immigration documents;

2. Your passport must have been valid for at least two years prior to submission of your nominee application. If your passport has not been valid for at least two years (i.e., the previous passport expired less than two years before the submission of the nominee application), then copies of all of the pages of your previous passport must also be included; AND

3.Your passport should be valid for at least two more years. If you are unable to renew your passport prior to applying to the program, you must apply with your current passport with an explanation of why your passport could not be renewed at the time of the application.

I don't understand why everyone is questioning each other's answer. Different steps in the process have different rules. Yes, when uploading the passport for the PR application only pages with stamps, markings, etc need to be uploaded. PPR is a different story, here they explicitly say "all pages". In each step, just read what they ask you to do and then do it. Not more, not less.
