MPNP Application 2014 for FILIPINOS

If you have applied pnp on other provinces you need to cancel the first one and apply for mpnp. I also believed you need to apply mpnp first then they will choose you for express entry. here is what it says on there website

"Under the first ‘pilot' phase of this initiative, only applicants who meet ALL the criteria below and are directly contacted by the MPNP will be considered for nomination under the new MPNP Express Entry “sub-stream”. The MPNP will directly contact a limited number of applicants who:

have an existing open application with a MPNP file number in the Skilled Worker Overseas stream within our inventory
have the potential to meet the eligibility criteria of at least one of the three federal economic immigration programs included in Express Entry according to the assessment of a MPNP Immigration Officer based on the documents included with your current application"

Thanks @ dqueen1016 - I was pertaining to the upcoming MPNP Express Entry sub-stream OVERSEAS category which will reopen on 30 Aprl 2015 which is the Phase 2 of the pilot project. The statement above as I understood is Phase 1 which is currently open...

I need your help guys badly. Im currently working here in alberta as a tfw. My work permit is gonna expire on january 2016. I recently got a hold of a friend of mine and he is willing to sponsor me through mpnp connection stream. Here in alberta there is no hope that I could get pr because im semi skilled and and I was informed by my employer that they cannot renew my work permit anymore. I understand that mpnp is for applicants from outside canada. My question is can I apply through mpnp conndlection stream even though im here in alberta right now? Wouldnt that be an issue that im currently in another province? I hope u can help me guys. Thanks is advance everyone. Cheers.

There really seems to be some backlogs. Last time I read from other threads that once sponsors are interviewed, the results / LOAs are sent w/in a month's time ... now, they're saying a minimum of 6 weeks (that'll be 1 & 1/2 months) ???

I think you can apply for mpnp technically "outside" canada if you are going to put your contact details in the Philippines. mas mahabang proseso lang sha kasi yung paperwork mo madami pang dadaanan. ex. you send your application to manila, then ask someone for a favor to send it back to canada to mpnp. then when mpnp reply, they will send it first to manila then your contact from manila will send it back to you. this is just a ballpark idea of what you can do in terms of applying "outside" canada. let's just wait for the more senior members to reply so that they can give you a clearer game plan.

question though, have tried applying for other jobs that can give an extension on your work permit...maybe not in the same industry that you are currently working at?

As far as I know, may room mate ang pinsan kong nasa Calgary who is currently TFW there who was able to apply as PNP here in Manitoba. His application is on process right now. He is under family stream.

You're status is "assessment in process" di ba (correct me if I'm wrong)? I thought kapag "in process" na (which comes after "assessment pending"), eh na-interview na yung sponsor and mpnp officers are just deciding on whether they'll approve or disapprove the applicant's nomination? Hindi rin pala ganun? haaaaay..... ???

need muna matapos ung na sponsoran na nauna bago makapag sponsor ng iba. if ever nag sponsor ng dalawa yung sponsor, mas priority yung una then decline ang pangalawa AFAIK.
In terms of timeline, i am not 100% sure pero i think 1year after the approval ng na sponsoran.

For close relatives, both the applicant and the supporter must provide documents proving their familial relationship (ex: applicant uploads identity documents in MPNP Online; supporter includes identity documents in Settlement Plan Part 2 form).

Close relatives may support the application of more than one skilled worker at a time provided they satisfactorily demonstrate the ability to do so.

For friends and distant relatives, their household must not be currently supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person under another Canadian immigration program.

Nag resign na po ako sa work ko which is yun yung nakalagay sa application ko (MPNP) July 30, 2014 applicant po ako..
Magkakaproblema po ba yun?? As of now I'm finding a new better job. Hopefully by next month meron na..
