Hello all, I'm new here obviously... Just mailed my wife's papers on Thursday, March 12 who is from Armenia. Any encouragement is greatly appreciated lol. This is going to be the slowest journey yet. All I know is my friend and his wife got their visa in 5 months. Applied mid September and recieved their visa on Feb. 15... This was all done through the Warsaw office.

Best of luck...who knows, you may be just as lucky to be done in 5 months! Is there any way for you to find out any more info on your friend's process? It would help the others on this board knowing more timelines of actual success cases through Warsaw (hence the reason for our little thread here ;D).

If you did outland application, your first indication of a case file# will be at sponsorship approval at around 78 days...they have been sticking to this processing time pretty close...but it could be sooner (or later). As sponsor, you will also be issued your own UCI number as well on the letter you get which you can then use to log in with ECAS to keep an eye on your status.

After that, you keep an eye on ECAS to show that the application was received and the medicals were received. Many months later, I received the PPR and emailed it back. But no update on ECAS or any other correspondence...so unfortunately, you may or may not get much more communications. Really depends...but what it depends on...is anyone's guess LOL!!

Oh this will kill me 100% lol Is there therapy sessions on this site? I havent gotten a confirmation that it has been delivered as canada post assures me that it has been delivered to the mail office. Just will take some time to scan it as delivered. This will be a long long journey and some are laughing at me probably by now loool

we called CIC after hmmm I don't know how long, probably 40 days, and agent in call centre confirmed that they got it. then we had to wait for SA for another month and a half, but at least we knew that they have it. but I am thinking now loud - when we applied, the processing time for SA was around 40 days, and we called after this time. soon after this they changed processing time to 78/80 days, so I am not sure, if they will give you any information before this time :/
anyway, we all have to wait, and there is no therapy for that just focus on everything else, hehe

Yeah easier said then done...but you are right...there is nothing I can do but to wait... I respect everyone for staying sane after all this process. It's not easy to say the least. But I will try that approach, wait 40 days and try my luck. Let's see what happens.

Congrats!!! Do you think you can make a stop over in Warsaw and give them a hand processing the rest of ours before you catch your flight over?
