If the principal applicant is your spouse (which usually is the case), you do not need that $550. Basically, if you are sponsoring your spouse, the fee would like this according to my understanding:
Sponsorship application $75
Principal applicant $475
RPRF $490

Just for info...
I talked to CIC service center and according to them Isb visa office is open and fully functional and its never been closed due to dharna

Go with both, as 3907e is a part of of 5491E and have many documents which are not part of 5491E, but for arranging arrange as in the order of 5491E. Mention chits or small printed labels on each document which you think is specific for Pakistan ( Birth certs, Nikkah Nama, evidences) just to let them know the purpose served by that document.

Regarding your awesome post for sponsoring a Pakistani spouse, however my spouse is IN CANADA..... do you happen to have a similar 'map' for Spousal sponsorship Pakistanin IN CANADA.

When did you send your application? I have only sent them IMM1344 as they have exclusively asked for it. I dont think at stage 1, they just only check IMM1344, but all the forms as well. You better send them all the new forms if yours were old.

yes, I have sent both forms.
Do you have any rough idea how much time our application would take to be completely processed as it is in its 1st stage now?
11 months or 32 months. is there anyone who has got his/her application processed in 11 months?

I started the application filling process since May, 2014 and in July came to know that they have changed some of the forms so filled new ones. I am pretty much sure I filled the new IMM0008 form as well, but can't say 100% sure because my desktop computers is down where I have saved filled forms and scanned copies of docs. Moreover, in the second letter which was exclusively addressed to me had only IMM1344 highlighted, so I have sent that form only. I am myself a sponsor and living exclusively with my spouse, ours is a out land application.

Dont worry mate, London visa office may ask you for updated forms if your form was not updated.

My application was delivered to CIC Mississauga on 8th August 2014.

I have my application processed in exactly 12 months since my application. you can check my timeline. I applied for sponsorship on 14 August 2013 and received visa on 13 august 2014

Hello friends,

I got married in August 2013 but did not file my immigration right away.
I applied for Canadian study permit in March 2014 but my application was refused in May 2014 by CHC Islamabad.
Then, I started preparing my sponsorship documents and finally submitted my case in Aug 2014 to Mississauga.
My wife remained with me here in Pak after marriage i.e from Aug 2013 to May 2014.

Now Allah has blessed us with baby boy and he is Canadian citizen by birth. But unfortunately he is not in good health condition.
My wife was to come back to Pak with baby but now doctors have advised us that baby should not travel until the age of 6 months.

I want to visit my wife and child who is critically ill. for that i need to apply visit visa TRV. My question is;
I have already once denied study permit, is it safe for me to apply TRV in this situation while my sponsorship application is still in early stages?
And if I do apply for TRV and my application is refused what effect it has on my sponsorship application?

Please give me your suggestions.

I have question about LVO
got approved from Mississauga and file transferred to London visa office JUly 15 2014
I submitted all required documents 1 nikha nama ( NADRA both ) 2 birth certificate 3.education documents' 4 phone calls details lots of wedding pic 5 medical 6 police clearance

how long usually they take to contact applicant after they received application
any one know they send Email or written letters
just wondering when should LOV contact me . do wanna miss any mails letter
what kind of more document's r they looking for

The forms and documents will vary depending on your situation (inland/outland application, use of representative or not)
Go through the General Asia IMM3907 guide at the link below it explains everything. There's no shortcut to completing the application, you will have to read and spend some time with the forms. After reading if you have any specific questions there are tons of people here willing to help.
