ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Nothing yet.... Tired of checking the forum...

I was following some of the fsw forums same situation is there as well. No updates. Don't know what's wrong with NDVO. In strike they were working much better then now.

What we can do now? Just wait and watch. Hope they have atleast started processing on our applications.

Vfs is just like a courier agent..."In process" is the only message u see on vfs website...And they change this message only when the passport is dispatched to you...Except than that they or their call center will have no information about ur application process. Similarly when u submit online..U see submitted successfully which is equivalent to in process...And process time is 3 months...So some people might be lucky enough to get is faster than that...but it has nothing to do with Online or paper application, both are given equal importance...

I was not an active member here, but wsa pretty closely following this thread. That worksheet was the only hope to have. But today I got an approval mail from CIC. Below are my Timelines.

Category : LMO + TWP
Applied Date : 8-May-2013, New Delhi
Medicals Submitted with application.
Approval mail received : 9- Oct-2013.

Congrats buddy ... Thats a good news after a long time. Atleast it gives us some sort of hope that CIC is working on clearing backlogs. As well it gave us an idea that there are candidates who are waiting from May. Hopefully this brings joy to everyone who is waiting.

Also this is a responsible act by you buddy. Though you have not been writing anything, you took up time to let us know about your results. Its a humble request to everyone to provide updates, which can be a source of delight for everyone who have been waiting long without knowing whats happening.

Hi,

Well i amcurrently in UAE, however i have applied for TWP in Delhi. I sent status update mail to New Delhi, however got no response...Then i happen to send a mail to Abu Dhabi HC to check. I got a response from them stating -----"Your application is under process within our standard processing time. Please see our website."

Does that mean my application is sent to Abu Dhabi instead of Delhi,its been exactly 3 months and i have no response from them yet.....what should i do as processing time here in UAE is 7 months and i am sure my employer in canada wont wait for me that long, please suggest..Thanks

Hi Ankur,

As per my lawyer, online applications can be processed anywhere. So there is a possibility that your application might get processed at Abu Dhabi HC. My lawyer too sent mail to NDVO for my online application status, but he too didn't get any reply. According to him, my application may not be with NDVO.

I am not sure about the processing time applying to you. At this point if time, you just need to wait for the next communication.

Hi, There was nothing mentioned about the Medicals. It was just a formal letter of approval.
