I applied through VAC and its 25 days and still on progress!

I applied on July 28 paper application.
I check status through VFS Tracker System and its showing "under progress".

SGVO takes about 5-6 weeks from my experience for online TRV. I heard paper is faster.

Hi all,

I got the refusal letter from singapore visa office. It's ridiculous! The reason of refusal family ties, travel history, purpose of travel and prove of asset and financial status. Actually, the trv is for my husband and my son. Family ties (76 years old mother in law living with my husband in malaysia), travel history (my husband has less travel history and my 1.5 years old son definitely not much!, purpose of travel (my husband submitted my study permit and my invitation letter together with his application), prove of asset and financial status (my husband has his own business and show one of the personal saving CAD75,000). What else they want my husband to show? Anyone, pls help.... Should I re submit again?

yes you have to replay with strong documents ,

Hi anmol123,

I read so many forum, it seems that eventough I submit more stronger documents cic will reject my husband and son application for second or even third times. Is it because of strike, they reject most of the applications with almost all the same reason for everyone. So frustrating!

i agree, they reject twice for the same reason for my mom's trv, in last six months.

Within 6 month, ur mom applied 3 times trv from singapore visa office? Did ur mom submit the same documents or stronger documents to support the application? Is it good to keep applying every time they refuse? Will we the black listed when we apply for visa in the future?

Apply for the GCMS notes before reapplying. There's lots of info in the forum. That will give you a better idea of why the officer refused it. This will take several weeks but it's probably more worth it than a third refusal, which will lead to all the offices around the world being notified (in a way, blacklist).

hi kais & sharonkooy, the problem is, my father passed away last year and my only brother lives here in canada. They are saying she woun't leave after the temporary visit. I showed apartment on her name and about 20k canadian in her savings, which is really true. Mississauga office has approved my sponsorship 1 month ago. When my father was alive they came twice in 2008 & in 2011. That not it, she even got a 5 year multiple us visa 2 months ago. She visited us 6 times, everything is good, except father passed away and makes her ties week in home country. But i am not giving up, will apply again and will explain the situation. The truth is my mom will not stay here even when she gets PR, but she wants to spend sometimes with us every year. Do not know what am i gonna go? Kinda lost and depressed. Pray for me guys. Its been 29 days since I applied but still "on process". Is this a good thing?

it will take exactly 6 weeks for to be processed any TRV from singapore.

Two other guys applied for TRV from Bangladesh, one for father and one for spouse, both took 22 calender days to give the decision.
My first time application, they sent us the rejection letter in exactly 23rd day.
But for this one its been 34 days, but still "in process".

Really worried about it.
