Maximum stay on a Businsess Visa with Multiple entry , valid for 1 year

Dear Friends,

Please let me know for how many days i can stay in Canada when my visa is approved which has a validity for 1 year and is Multiple entry.

I landed here in Canada on 13th of April.In my immigration form on my entry into Canada I had mentioned the duration of my stay to be 4 weeks (i.e. 30 days).

But i am having to extended my stay for another 6 weeks, Please note that there is not exit date stamping on my Visa upon entry into into Canada.

Kindly let me know the maximum days i can stay here.

I would of thought, that if you have a multiple entry visa valid for a year, you would be able to stay for a year.

if it is a visitor business visa and 99.99% it is you can't stay more than 3 months or 6 months, definitely not stay for the entire year, that is because they don't want people to take advantage of visitor visas even if they are business ones and live in Canada and keep renewing them.
