"Medical Results have been recived" and after how many days you got ppr guys??

It would probably be the address for the Buffalo Consulate's office and it should be included in the e-mail to you for your PPR

By the way, I don't want to excite everyone and I am also being calm about this but I also received my PPR today. But I want to ask some you more wiser folks on here. Because I kept reading people on here saying that your passport should be valid for about one year when they send you the PPR, I also applied for a new passport in March, so my old one was cancelled by the officer at my country's Embassy. But both passports were returned to me by the Embassy.

So I just need your advice on this. I am going to send my both my passports to the Consulate in Seattle, but should I include a letter with my mail, explaining the reason why my other passport was cancelled? I would appreciate your advice. Thanks.

Because of delays, my embassy would mostly like give me a temporary passport that is valid for 1 year.
Once, they receive all documents (i.e PCC etc), they would extend it for another 9 yrs.
I am not sure if a 1-year valid passport is good for PPR.

What type of return envelope you're supplying along with your passport? For Buffalo, it has to be CanadaPost's Xpresspost (Not USA Xpresspost). I'm not aware of any courier service that Buffalo allows.

Well I already sent it last night because I didn't want to waste any time. I just included a regular self-addressed 11" by 8" envelope for returning my passport, which they said they will do by US First Class Mail. I placed my mail package in a Xpresspost US evelope so that it would reach Seattle office faster.
But you always have to keep in mind that my passport was requested by the Seattle Consulate and not Buffalo. They seem to have different mailing instructions compared to Buffalo. At least Buffalo is more flexible. But FedEx also asked me for my company name and I don't own my own business so when I entered the name of the company that was working for, the website responded as being invalid entry.

So all I can do now is just wait and leave it in the hands of fate. At least since I sent the mail with Xpresspost US I can keep track of it to see if it reached Seattle.

Can I know which country you are from? Maybe it would be a good idea to have the visa issued in a passport that is valid for more than 1 year, this is just my thought.

I would be greatful if some one can answer to my below query

my Ecas status showing an additional line that " Medical Results have been received " what does exactly mean ? i read in some forms that it indicated that security is also cleared most probably , even in the Ecas explaination is mentioned , when CIC recieved Medical Results it means decision made for the applicants outside canada .

Please any one could highlight on this !

Hey everyone-

I highly suggest using a signature required package, and someone other than Canada Post for the passport.

I had PPR, and apparently my passport was delivered yesterday - however I am yet to see it. Seems to be lost.

Canada Post wont tell me where it was delivered (to what address) and to open an investigation you must have Buffalo do this.

Beware of Canada Post! I think they are useless, and really not helpful. I even tried the mail room in my building whom didn't have anything to track postage, and was not able to even get out of their seat to help me. Unreal.

DO u guys think it's time to email them for the first time? Secondly, I applied through a provincial nominee. While filling the application for PR forms, I filled my current and previous employment then. Now my work is over and i am searching for a new job right now. Is there any point of me advising Buffallo of this job thing? just curious incase they go do checks on me.

I thought you lose your PNP nomination when your employment ends. Even if you are laid off the day of your PPR or even just before landing, your whole process was all in vain. Am I right?

I think so.
Because the ongoing and continued employment is needed for the PNP and PNP is needed to the PR application. So it all falls apart like a deck of cards.
